scream I had been sitting with them for like an hour and a half and they had said nothing!
Brothers...
as a guy... i'm just gonna say, that it's not "brothers..."
the proper response is: "men..."
You don't have a brother, you don't know what you're talking about.... it's "brothers"...
no, i don't have a brother. however, most of the men i know would have done the same thing. hence why i say "brothers" should be expanded to "men" in general.
If she were to say "men" you would have said, "Double standard, ect ect." So she said brothers which references two embodiments, actual brothers AND men. For she has a
valid reason is saying brothers.
i would not have said "double standard." you are confusing me with digi and grave. i tend to agree with women's judgements about men - we are somewhat disorganized, stubborn, marginally anti-social, many of us have a one-track mind, etc etc. you won't find me arguing that this is not the case.
also, even if i was one of those "double standard" dudes, this case would never work, because a double standard would be something men aren't supposed to do even though women do it all the time. however, while men keep silent, most women
share the fact of their engagement, so there's no way this could be a double standard. a double standard would, for the sake of example, be a woman telling a man not to be so vocal about the engagement, and then running around to tell all her friends. but this was not the case, so it is not a double standard.
