Riley nodded. "It is a little silly, hm? But if you heard me trying to act...well." She laughed. "You'd understand. Something about using my voice to express something, it just doesn't work, you know? I guess I've been using my body so long for that I don't know any other way."
Her ponytail swished as she looked around, almost conspirativly like. "To the park, and look! I'm here." She smiled, to show she wasn't trying to be mean to the young man. "I wanted to get out and stretch my legs, and the park looked so pretty as I passed it. Past that, nowhere really."

He smiled. "Im sure youre dancing is exceptional, if it makes you feel any better, Im a horrid dancer." He looked to Bri and nodded.
"Im out for a stroll, Im happy I ran into others though, a lone stroll is great for thinking. But..Bad for someone in need of socialization." He started laughing.
He looked back at Riley. "Stretch your legs eh? Sounds about like me."

"Of course, silly me." He smiled wanly and watched the two walk a bit more. "I just... was lost in thought. In fact, I'm not quite sure I realised I was at a park until the two of you appeared." That was quite the speech for the stage actor-- at least around those he didn't know well.
He leaned back against a tree and rolled his shoulders back. "A nice stretch is definitely a bonus."

"I'll bet you're not as bad as you think. I'll have to see you dance sometime," Riley said, laughing. She hadn't gotten to dance at the last party, and she was a little sad about that. Wasn't the point of a party to dance?
"We should go to a club sometime!" It had just popped out of her mouth. Thinking about dancing made her then think about where she could go to dance if there wasn't a special occasion. She wasn't even sure she had meant "we" as in those present, just the we as in anyone she knew. She sighed. "Only, I'm not old enough to get into most places..."
She dropped down onto the grass and sat indian style at Bri's feet and looked up. "What were you thinking about?"

He blinked in surprise-- a slow, but not quite deliberate action-- and peered down at the dancer, who looked much smaller when she wasn't at eye level. "Just... about the future. And the past." Bri lay his forefinger against his nose as he tried to think of how to word it. He was by no means stupid; just preferred putting meanings to lines rather than muddling through his own thoughts. "My family-- they don't think stage acting is a career fit for me. They'd rather I became a dentist or an architect." He slid down the tree to sit across from her. "I left home not long ago to prove them wrong and this upcoming audition has me thinking about it, I suppose."
