Technically, I've been on Gaia longer but I stopped for about 2 years and it's only now I actually revived my account. I discovered Gaia from a friend....that was around 2007....
DA..I've only been on DA for about 7 months after I got bored of Photobucket. Another friend sent me a link to DA a few months before but Internet explorer was being a pain and didn't want to open DA properly..but now I got firefox again...^_^

I was on Gaia for a good 2 years before I made my first DA (back in like 2007). I found out about it because someone in a guild I'm in would often post links to fanart from there.

I've been on Gaia longer, though I can't remember why - it's been too long.
DA I joined because one of my readers on fanfiction wanted me to get one so that she could read more of what I had.

I've been on dA much longer, because a friend of mine had one and sort of pressured me into posting my writing there so she could read it (I was never one to let anyone read what I wrote), and then I just recently joined Gaia after I found out a few friends of mine from dA had one. Plus, I was bored.
I've been on dA for 2 or 3 years now. I've been on Gaia for maybe...two months? ^^'
