Gloria knew that Melman only said that to make him happy, but still he could try and teach him. "I can help you, if you want." Gloria asked with a smile. He let go of Melman's hand and walked over to the water. Gloria then put his feet in.
((lol I keep wanting to see "she" and so on!))

Melman creened his neck to get a better look at the water and shuddered a bit. What if he drowned?
No, Gloria wouldn't let him drown.
"O...ok...but could we start off in shallow water first?" he asked.

Gloria nodded. "Of course. That's the best place to start. Can't swim on your first try. At least not in the deep." Gloria held out his hands to Melman to taken them. This was if he got scared in the water he had Gloria there to help him.
((I guess it's time for me to let everyone know:
I will be going to Texas to visit my Uncle for Christmas. I will be leaving tomorrow the 20th and not comeing back until the 27th. He has the internet, but I don't know how much I'll be able to get on. So, this means if you really need me PLEASE pm me. I will try to check that while I'm gone. Melman gulped down hard, but grabbed onto Gloria's hands.
"O...ok..." he said with a shakey nod. He could do this. He was going to make Gloria proud of him.

Gloria smiled and nodded. "Okay, there ya go Melman. You are in the water. That's a start." he didn't let go of the other boy's hand. He wanted to make sure Melman felt safe. The safer he felt the better you will do.

"Ok... ok..." he said, more to himself than to Gloria, if anything to tell himself that everything indeed was ok. He then looked at Gloria again.
"All right then...now what?" he asked.

Gloria looked to Melman then to the water. "Alright, now just sit in the water." The plush then bent his knees and sat in the water. He couldn't fully go down as he was still holding onto Melman's hand.
