Joshua caught up to Zemel, and tagged him. "Tag!" He cried, racing back to the swings. "You can't catch me!" He stuck his tongue out.
Thali smiled, "Maybe," She said. She watched Joshua playing with Zemel. "He seems to be warming up to them," she said cheerfully.

Zemel grinned, racing off after Josh. Did it even cross his mind to go after his sister? Nope, not once. "Gonna getcha!" he called out, grinning as he pushed himself to run faster.
"I'm so glad their becoming friends..." Stasia said, smiling. "Joshua is the first child they've met besides 'Zuba here and Nataya."

Joshua quickened his pace. "No!" He teased, looking back. He was getting tired. "Want to swing?" He asked suddenly.
Thali smiled, nodding. "I'm planning on having Joshua meet more children this week. I think he'll come out of his shell if he makes friends."

Zemel kept running, though he was listening. He grinned at the other boy, nodding. Swinging was fun! "We swing." He confirmed, his tone cheerful.
Ginger noticed the change in game, giggling happily as she jumped off her perch, landing on the ground. She then ran over towards them, hoping they wouldn't start without her.
"That should help it." Stasia agreed, nodding. "I'm sure he won't have any problem making friends."

Joshua ran to the swing set. He saw Ginger coming over to them and smiled. He had a little trouble getting on the swing by himself, but he settled on it. "Push me!" He called to his mother. Thali sighed.
"You know how to pump!" She told him. Joshua folded his arms, and Thali surrendered. "I'll start you." She told him. She made sure his hands were tight on the chain before pushing him.

Ginger ran over to the swings where Zemel stood, waiting patiently for her. She smiled at her brother before climbing up into the swing, having some difficulty. She grinned as her brother pushed her (as best as he could, anyways) to get her started, laughing as she began swinging.
Zemel moved out of the way, smiling as he heard his sister laugh. He then climbed into his own seat, trying to swing on his own. Unfortunately, he wasn't getting fast.
Stasia smiled, getting up. "Stay here." she told 'Zuba before walking towards the swings. She gave Zemel a gentle push, just enough to get him going before stepping back, smiling.

Once Joshua was swinging, he promptly challenged the twins. "Bet you can't swing higher! Who swings higher wins!" He said. Thali rolled her eyes at her son's challenge.
"He's competitive." Thali said, grinning. She liked to think that Joshua had picked up that trait from hanging around Ben so much.

Ginger grinned over at him. "Can too! We win!" she said, accepting the boy's challenge. "We win and you lose!" She began pumping her legs harder, determined not to let him win.
"We win..." Zemel said, with about half as much enthusiasm as his sister. Why couldn't they all just win? He didn't want to compete... He kicked a bit harder, though it was really hard to tell.
"I can see!" Stasia said, laughing lightly. "A little competitiveness comes in handy sometimes...that won't be a problem for him."

Joshua pumped harder. "I win! I always win!" He said, smiling back. He rose in height. Thali grinned, and shook her head.
"I think these two are going to argue pretty often," she remarked. "They're both competitive." Then, to the children she said, "You guys tie!"

"Your mommy said we tie." Ginger said, getting an idea as she swung forward. "I jump farther!" She said, grinning as she flung herself out of the swing.
"Yes, I think they will....Ginger Renee, don't even!" But she was too late. She'd already jumped. Going into action, she took three running steps, turning around to catch her before she hit the ground, falling herself.
Ginger gave her mother the most innocent, harmless face she could muster. Mommy had used the middle name, so she knew she was in trouble. "I love you, Mommy." she said, smiling oh so sweetly at her.
Zemel slowed to a stop, sighing. He then looked to Josh. "No jump..." he warned, not wanting his new friend to get hurt or get into trouble too.

Joshua didn't like this new challenge. He stayed on the swing, agreeing with Zemel. "No jump," He agreed.
Thali decided to lighten the mood. "Anyone up for ice cream?" She asked, spotting the ice cream man in the park.

Zemel smiled, glad Josh made the safe decision. He then looked at Thali, shivering at the thought. It was too cold for ice cream! Didn't she know that? Of course she knew that; mommies, like teachers, knew everything.
Stasia sighed; she'd lecture her daughter later. Right now, a nice ice-cream cone sounded nice. "Sure. I'll treat everyone." she said, grinning. And by 'treat' she meant she'd use her abilities to get it for free, but hey, who's splitting hairs?
"Ice cream!" Ginger said, grinning and clapping her hands together quickly. Ice cream was yummy! She broke out of her mother's lap, running to the ice-cream stand. "Race to the ice cream!" she challenged over her shoulder, grinning at her brother and Joshua.

Thali smiled, ice cream was always good on a cold day. Joshua slowed to a stop, and got off the swing. "I win!" He challenged, hurrying to the ice cream stand.
Thali rolled her eyes. "I think Josh's more interested in winning than the ice cream," she said.

"Nuh-uh! We win! We beat you!" Ginger said, grinning and running as fast as she could. "I get there first and get ALL the ice-cream!" she threatened, giggling like mad.
Zemel sighed, choosing to walk with the parents. He was tired after playing tag, after all.
Stasia chuckled, pressing a crooked finger to her lips. "Atleast they're having fun." she pointed out, smiling.

Joshua sped up, worried that Ginger would eat his ice cream too. "We tie!" He said, using the term his Mommy had. "We tie and we get all the ice cream! We share!"
Thali smiled, "Yeah," she agreed.
