Uzuri smiled and looked the other pup up and down, examining her. "Yep, I guess that's right!" she looked at her own coat, eyeing the patterns on it. "I'm mostly sky blue, with some light blue on my tummy and paws!" she grinned, proud of her bold colors. "But I've got yellow and white on me too!" shaking herself around, Uzuri fumbled in the water. Her paw slipped on something, and she nosed around to find what it was. Chomping down on a small stone, Uzuri slowly lifted up a reddish stone from the water. "Aa unda ut dis is?" she mumbled around the stone, dropping it on dry land.

Asha grinned. "So you're a lot brighter than me, I guess!" Which was fine. That way, she didn't draw that much attention to herself. But Uzuri seemed like the kind of pup that liked such bright colors. Good for her.
She heard the splash and the question (though spoken around something in the other girl's mouth, Asha understood it). "What is it? Where is it?" She would sniff and feel and see if it was anything she recognized.

Clearing her throat, Uzuri examined the stone quickly. "It's a.......rock." sticking her tongue out, she felt foolish for bringing up such a thing. "But it's pretty! It sparkles in the sun, and it's red!" she tried her hardest to make this small insignificant thing sound important. Leaning down, she nosed it over towards the other pup, sliding it through the soft grass near the water's edge.

Oh, a rock. Those could be kind of neat. She heard the other female nose it through the grass and Asha bent down to feel it bump on her nose. It felt smooth, like a pebble washed over so many times in a stream that it felt like the softest of furs.
"I like that one," she said with a smile. "Do you think there are any more?"

Eyeing the river, the sheen of the water covered any rocks that may have been like the one Uzuri found.
"I.....don't think so......" she moved around on the bank, fishing her paw in the water, turning over small stones. "It's a one of a kind!" her smile reached across her face, and she trotted back over to the young female. "I want you to have it. To remember me by."

Asha pouted, but was given a surprise at the offering. "But...if it's one of a kind, are you sure you don't want to keep it? I remember all of my friends, even without something material to remember them by," she boasted a little. After all, when one couldn't really see things, one had to rely on one's memory and such much more.

"No no." Uzuri smiled and nudged the small stone closer to the other pup. "It looks better with you, anyway." she let out a laugh. "Please, take it?" ((Brain cells.....dying......wanna start to end this? x3 ))

She smiled at Uzuri, and nodded happily. "Thank you," she replied. "I'll keep it forever! And it'll smell like you so I'll always remember it was you who gave it to me!" she added.
Asha's ears pricked up and she glanced behind her. Her parents were calling her; it was probably either time for dinner or...some family gathering of some kind. "I've gotta go..." she pouted. "I'll see you later?" The pup gave her new friend a quick nuzzle and pranced off towards home, not wanting to risk her parents' wrath of being late.
