Alex laughed and stood, brushing himself off. "Hey! Wait up!" he ran a hand though his golden locks and walked at her side. "I did not catch your name, mine's Alex." He glanced over at her and looped his arm around hers. He was currently not perusing anyone and little miss books might just be the challenge he dreamed about, though in his dreams she was rich and good-looking.

She looked at him, "Avery," she said, pulling her arm away from him so she could open her locker. She didn't like this boy already, she wished he'd go away. Zap! ... She checked to see if Alex was still there. He was. Damnit.

Matthew slid his Kitty ears back up, he looked around, girls walked by and waved, he's blush stupidly and smiled. It was who he was, he why shy, and bitter sweet, witty sarcastic, he'd typically be tough to beat...But he never truly found the voice, he was social but it was an act, he wanted to be liked, to be loved, he'd figure out who he was..Later. He smiled as he noticed Allison. "Alli!" He always called her that, she didn't seem to notice him, come to think of it, he didn't know how he even knew her, but he did. Sighing softly he walked up next to her desprate to find conversation. He hummed the tune of the song she'd been sining. Smiling softly as he looked at her. He softly took a head phone and put it in. "Oi, good song." He said, his accent slurring his words greatly as he looked around the halls. "Dead don't you think? The hal-" He looked at the casual flirting guy. "Ew." He rolled his eye's as he looked at Ali. "So how are you Ms Ali?" He asked with a dull smile, he slapped it on, he slapped on the talk to..Why, why why...He never knew. He slowly danced to the new song, having no clue what was playing.

Alli looked at Matthew, then took the earbud from him and put it back in. "I'm fine." She mumbled. It seemed much quieter to her than it actually was, since she couldn't hear much over her explosively loud music. She turned her head from the door so she wouldn't have to look out into the hallway anymore. She hated watching people flirt openly. It was so disgusting. Didn't they have any shame?

Matthew looked her up and down. "Someone's upset." He said rolling his eye's slightly, then he looked back at her. Following her eye's the to two people flirting. He shrudderd slightly. Gentlly, he took her hand, pulling her, he knew she'd probably protest but didn't care enough. He took her outside and away from the hall, letting her go. "What's wrong?" He asked in uncertainty. Looking up at the clouds forming in the ocne flawless blue sky. "And the blue sky's turn to grey when the gods start to weep." He whisperd absent mindedly. He just looked around, trying to avoid looking at the sky, it was from a nursery ryhem from when was a child, his mom would sing it to him before he went to he went to bed. Sighing softly he looked at her.

Stepping out of her stetch limo was the never punctual Becky staggering into school with her hair all sprayed up and her shades and her little doggie, Minx, who had to stay in the car and whimpered. "I'll be back Minxy poo, toodles!!" The pink fluffy poodle continued to whimper as the limo drove away. Becky wore her pretty pink backpack and had her i-pod set on movie mode. She was watching "Legally Blonde" which was her second favorite movie next to "Mean Girls". Sadly, though, she had to turn it off before it got confescated. She was already late as it is.

Darren chained up his bike outside and rushed into the building. Many girls in a giggling clump smiled and waved at him as he entered. Darren grinned back and waved too. Several of the guys on the team called him out in the hall with high fives and hopes of a win later this week. Darren's response was and chuckle and a 'You have to work hard too. Team isn't spelled D-a-r-r-e-n."
By the time he got to his locker, Darren already felt drained. He chucked his Nike bag with his equipment in it in his locker and picked up his physics notebook, slipping it into his canvas messenger bag. Darren shut the locker with a flick of his foot and looked down the hall. Avery owned the locker a few spaces down from him; there was a boy standing with her. She looked annoyed at him being around.
"Hey, Avery." Darren called down the line, "Is he bothering you?" While Darren didn't feel any attraction to Avery, he certainly wouldn't let someone pester her.

Alex laughed. He turned to look at Darren and mentally dared him to do anything. "Hey Dare bear nice move's at yesterday’s game, I wish I could dance like you do." He tilted his head slight and winked. He did not want this guy to intervene in his new chase. His golden brown hair shifted as he tilted his head and his icy dark eyes sparkled. He could ruin a person’s romantic life if he wanted to. He had done it before. And he was ready to do it again.

Avery looked at Darren, grateful for him coming. She wanted to say, 'Yes, he is bothering me!' but didn't. That'd be rude! "Oh, I'm fine," she cast a glance towards Alex, "I have to get to class," she said, hoping that Alex would stay with Darren. She began to walk towards World Literature.

Alex chuckled and flipped his hair. "Sweet I'll walk with you." He pushed away from the locker and strutted at the girl's side, one hand in his pocket the other resting on his bag. "It's cool that we both have World lit first hour." He commented and looked down meeting her eyes. He took his hand out of his pocketed and snaked it around her arm gently.

She'd forgotten about that, but she didn't usually pay attention to her classmates. "Great!" she said with false excitement, moving into the classroom. What did it take to shake this guy? She took a seat, pulling her arm out of his hold, and began to get her notebooks.

"Okay," Darren murmured as the two of them walked off, certainly not 'together' but at the same time. He pursed his lips and turned in the opposite direction to physics.
He took a seat near the back and rummaged through his notebook for the homework on momentum and force. Jeff, an outfielder in every sense of the word, sat across from him at the lab table. "Oh man, was that due today?" He groaned looking at Darren's paper. "I forgot all about it." Darren rolled his eyes; this happened all the time.
"How'd you forget?" He asked, sitting up, "We got this like a week ago."
"That's even worse." Jeff moaned taking out his blank sheet. "Quick, gimme yours."
"No way, Jeff." Darren said, snatching the paper away from grabby hands. "I helped you cheat before, and I almost got flunked for it. That's not happening again."

"I appreciate the concern, Matthew, but really, I'm fine. Thanks for worrying about me, though." Alli smiled faintly and turned back toward the doors of the school. "Come on, we'll be late to class."
As Alli entered the class, she noticed that the popular guy was bothering that girl from the library. Avery, was it? Yes, it was Avery. She didn't know the girl, but she certainly didn't want the guy to take advantage of her, so she hurried towards her and took the seat next to her. "Hey! Avery! Sorry I'm late." Then she gave the girl a smile that said, 'I want to help you. Just play along.' Men couldn't read smiles. Girls could.

Avery took the lifeline. She smiled at Alli, "Hey!" she replied, doing a wonderful act of pretending to be friends. "It's alright," she sat down, only one empty seat beside her. She hoped Alli would take it. "How's it going?"

"Well, thanks." Before the boy could sit down and continue stalking the poor girl, Alli sat down in the last available chair next to Avery. "No problem but the boys. God, I am so giving them up. They are not worth it. Suddenly I understand how lezzies feel." It was a way to tell the truth and send a message to the boy that, if he didn't back off, she'd smack him good.
