The specific goggles I wanted were WWI replicas made out of leather and metal instead of pleather and plastic. They were about $60 but worth it for the quality. I may check eBay, since it's now down to that or making them out of cardboard and string. .___.

Haha I believe the Alternative to the alternative wouldn't work very well.
The first alternative will work C:

Steeeeeeampunk. I recently attended a steampunk convention (SteamPowered) and it was so much fun! There were so many amazing artisans and some of the costumes were outstanding. Abney Park played on their steamy instruments. My sisters did take some pictures but she apparently lost the cord to upload pictures off her camera so... I'll have to show you this link instead. These were the Steampunk Ghostbusters at the convention. :3 http://www.steampunkghostbusters.com/Salutations.html

The one on the far-left seems a bit under-dressed.
Now I am not a girl, but it would seem that this one is the hot one no?
Ironic, he doesn't have cooler clothes. c;<

He is... tolerable, I suppose, but not handsome enough to tempt me...
He looks a little young for my specific tastes, and he is quite under-dressed... but I have no idea who he is. sweatdrop I didn't notice him at the convention. I think the guy in the middle is quite attractive. He has a bit of a swagger to him, which is funny because I've never really gone for swaggerers. Then again, maybe it's the epic facial hair.....

That's a concept that fascinates!

The fellow on the left is rather underdressed, sadly, but I have to admit that he rather sets my mind to wondering if his mother minds very much that he's out late. He does seem to be quite young.

I've adored Ghostbusters since I saw the first movie at the drive-in as a child. This twist on it is delightful.

Lolita can be downright adorable, but it puts me in mind of my girly-girl roughneck three-year-old daughter. I think Steampunk is more my speed. If I even have a speed... I don't think I've figured out my style at all.
