"Uhm," Malachite looked thoughtful, "we're still doing a lot of review over the basic math stuff, and we'll be going into long division, soon, I think."
He giggled when Tristin mentioned Gully being clumsy. "I'm the clumsy one," he admitted, rubbing a fading bruise on his thigh. "I keep running into tables and things."
"Talking is good," Malachite said with a tilt of his head. "What kinds of things do you have in mind?"

"Ah..." Tristin nodded slightly. "Well, I can do my best to help. I'm not sure if I can do long division, though... I haven't heard of that."
Tristin chuckled, smirking slightly. "Well, we can't have that. You should work on being a bit more graceful before you end up getting too beaten up. It wouldn't be as much fun playing with you if I had to watch for all sorts of bruises and bumps."
"Ah..." Tristin glanced about, trying to find anything interesting in the room. Failing that, he thought of the other things. "Well... Da' just got a computer and I've found lotsa interesting things on there. And... We have a Playstation, which is quite fun." Glancing to the door quickly, Tristin smirked. "Or... We could try really playing again, if none of those sound too appealing."

"Okay," Malachite nodded, not feeling up to discussing long division or anything else math-related at the moment. He nodded again at Tristin's next statement, letting his fingers brush over the bruise once more before resting his hand over it.
He gave Tristin a curious look when he mentioned finding "interesting" things on the computer. He wrinkled his nose a bit at the thought of the Playstation; he played video games enough at home. He smiled, however, at Tristin's last suggestion, his cheeks coloring slightly as he snickered. He shifted his position, feeling a little nervous but not adverse to the idea. "I suppose..." he said, trailing off.

Glancing back to Malachite after a moment, Tristin smirked again at the blush on his face. "I assume that's a yes to playing, isn't it? Heh..." Rising from the bed quickly, he glanced down the hall quickly towards the living room where he caught a glimpse of Nothing still in his chair, Mr. Karlet somewhere else. Ducking back into the room, Tristin closed the door and locked it quickly, returning to his seat beside Mal, casting another glance to the child. "Hmm... You sure about this...?"He wrapped an arm around his friend's shoulder, scooting close to him and watching for any reaction.

"Uh-huh," Malachite confirmed with a nod, biting his lip as Tristin got up. He remembered what Adrian had said about "exploring" being okay, as long as they didn't do anything that made him uncomfortable. He moved over a little as Tristin sat down, then moved close again, wrapping his arm around Tristin's waist and letting his hand rest against his hip. He nodded again, heart thudding against his chest as he did his best to relax, gaze drifting away from Tristin's face.
