Which on do we download?I downloaded the first one and the license agreement said this:
You further agree that you will do no productive work with copies of the software for which the specified license fee has not been paid. At such time as you have concluded your evaluation of the software, you will either pay the license fee for the software to Alchemy Mindworks or delete the software in its entirety and any copies thereof. In the event that you use an unlicensed copy of the software to create content which is included as part of a web page or any other publically-accessible document, you explicitly grant to Alchemy Mindworks the non-exclusive right to use the content so created and derivative works thereof with no requirement of payment or other compensation to the copyright holder, in any manner as deemed suitable by Alchemy Mindworks, in perpetuity, this condition not being in lieu of payment of the license fee for the software.
Does that mean if I make a GIF with it and put it on a webpage that I will have to pay some fee? EDIT-Nevermind..It just means they own the stuff we make with it..

I don't have the link but there is a Microsoft Gif Animator. The download is completely free, not a trial, and it works like a normal animation. It's slightly crude looking but the gifs don't show it.

K.e.n.n.y. That totally doesn't sound legal, but I'm not a lawyer.
