Could it be his lady fair simply admired him as much as he did she? Was it possible Romance in all her beauty, glory, and delicate persuasions had found what was looking for he pondered to himself. He'd never object to any query or quest she'd pose to him on any day be it rain or shine. He'd feed her honeysuckles, stand with her watching the sunset, walk with her under starlit nights, if only she'd ask. Rockin' Beat would loose his mind if she simply disappeared and never returned.

Returning the gesture he blows deeply upon her neck and nibbles a little. The scent of flowers, the ocean, it was all so intense but the only smell the stallion concentrated on was the mare that had captured his heart. The Princess that had saved per say and taken as his own. Well not that far yet anyway since he'd have to fully ask her or her ask him.

But the lingering verse of forevermore stood waiting at the door if only someone would allow it to gracefully waltz in. His feet felt light, almost airless and everything swirled around him. The race had simply died, yet his heart beat widely as if he was still running strong as he had been.

Then the stallion became brave watching his lovely butterfly as he spoke, "What pray tell must I do to keep a butterfly such as yourself from leaving my side?" he asked with deep felt emotion in his vibrant eyes.

He'd do anything to keep her and even he pondered she'd do the same to keep him. So what was the solution he wondered that would help them both. Perhaps he'd wait for his Lady Butterfly to answer, for love was something not captured it was given in respect by two that created the bond.
