Leru nodded at that, laughing a little bit as she recalled some of the antics she had seen herself. The talk of scars made her a little nervous, but she was glad, in some way, that he seemed proud of them instead of ashamed.
Or weak ... she like his obvious strength as well.
"Babies are indeed adorable, no matter what species," she purred softly.

Sekhmet was walking her right into his plan. He smiled, looking into the distance and sighing as if recalling some great memory. He was indeed proud of his scars-or at least he fake stories he told with them. One was from a fight with a lion, another from a lizard... one from a hare he had attempted to eat. It all depended on how he wanted to impress his guest.
"I especially like Serval babies!" He said, looking soft and light hearted at the thought. "Their little toes and ears.." He flicked his own.

Leru laughed softly and nodded. "It's been ... a long while since I saw any Serval babies... not since the old group that I came from scattered. There were several of us there... I used to help care for the little ones of the others."
She smiled, ducking her head a bit. She'd never had cubs of her own... though she had watched many birthings.

Sekh couldn't believe she hadn't had Kittens yet. He looked her up and down and let out a guffaw. "Your kidding!" He said quickly, shaking his head. "I am surprised at such a thing. I find you to be beautiful! Why wouldn't any male have begged for the privalege of having babies with you!" He said, waving his paw around in expression. She shook his head again and shut his red eyes with a deep grin.
"I for one find that I would pass up any female but you if it came to it! What amazing markings. Beautiful eyes.. look how lithe you are! Absolutely amazing!" He said, winking at her. "You just let me know if you need some help with having little ones someday... I'd be willing to help!" He said with a nother wink.

Leru's head came up at that and with her lighter-colored fur it was fairly obvious that she was flushing at his flattery. "I ... r-really?" she asked, suddenly feeling like a youngling again. In truth, there had been one or two males back in the old group 'courting' her, so to speak.
But at the time, she hadn't felt ready to have cubs, so she'd accepted their attention and light flirting but never indicated that she was ready to go much farther.
Now, though... well, maybe things would be different.

He smiled, glad he was getting the reaction he was hoping for. He chuckled, sort of embarrassedly like he was a bit unnerved by what he had just said to her. "I'm sorry. I mustn't be rude!" He said, tossing his head back for a moment. "I am being to forward! I apologize!" He said, giving her a small head bow.
"But how can you blame me! I am sure that you have many different suiters nipping at your heals!" He said, standing up and shaking his fur out.

Leru smiled faintly at that and shook her head just a bit. "N-not really... actually," she replied, eyeing the red male with a new sort of look. Though she had always held to the "love as thou wilt" precept, she'd never really had a love of her own. There had been one or two that chased her earlier but at the time, she hadn't really been ready for cubs or a family.
Now... things were a bit different.

Sekh gave her a sort of a pleased look, like he was hoping to hear such a thing. He gave a chuckle and nodded. She really didn't have to say much more. "Well. I suppose I can hang around for a little while if need be... until you can make up your mind!" He said, sitting himself down and giving his chest a good licking.
Things indeed may change.
