Lilith ran a hand through her black locks. "Or possessed. I have not yet ruled that out." She looked at the other demoness, red eyes probing for something she didn't quite find. It seemed like a dark shadow passed over her exquisite alabaster face before she said, "I should be going. Odessa!"
The demon child was watching Corbin through glassy eyes, a strange and empty look on her pretty face. "You're not like Bassy," she said reluctantly, dragging herself to her feet. She didn't wanna go back home, since it wouldn't be the same home as this morning's home at all. Why was Mama so jumpy, anyway?
"Perhaps we will meet up again, Succubus," said Lilith, entwining her daughter's hand around her own.

"That is true. They are weak enough to fall into a situation like that." Succubus said as she watched the queen's reaction to everything that passed her lips. Something was bothering Lillith. More than likely the business with the sword. As Lillith called for Odessa, the Succubus rose from the bench and bowed at the waist. "Goodbye my Queen.." She had no clue how real that goodbye would be for the Queen.
"I'm sorry little one.." Corbin frowned as Odessa ran back to her mommy. Slowly, he rose from the ground and dusted himself off. Corbin, not knowing if it was out of respect or fear for his life, bowed as the queen walked away from them both.

"Indeed." Shadows swarmed up about the Queen and the child; the two vanished when the darkness dissolved.
