Usually, my fits aren't too bad. .
I usually just get mad at myself and/or start crying, but sometimes I take a huge breath and blow as hard as I can into my french horn. It produces a very large "elephant" sound that is quite a good outlet of anger.

I've...
1) Called a friend to complain.
2) Smashed my face into my music stand.
3) Cried
4) Bit my hand
5) Just put the instrument down and went for a big bowl of icecream
6) Blew into the instrument as hard and for as long as I could (untill I got dizzy)
7) Hit my face with the corner of my book over and over again

I've calmed down a lot since my first few years of playing clarinet, but I remember being the only 5th grader in 6th grade Honors Band and being so fed up when I practiced at home that I'd:
1. cry
2. kick the foot board of my upright piano
3. throw my music across the room
4. dig my nails into my knees
5. hit myself on the head
6. squeak as loudly as I could
7. purposely play the music badly to get the point across to my parents
There were also countless instances when I wanted to chuck my clarinet against a wall. But now I'd never dream of doing that. Oswald is my child.

-Almost threw the bell of my trombone against the wall
-Yelled at my section
-Cried
-Ripped my folder up
-Crumpled my music
-Threw my trombone case in my grandma's car
-Threw slide oil against my stand
-Kicked a stand
-Stared at people in my section
-Talked bad about the people in my section
-Hit myself in the head with my flute
-I un-did a staple and rammed it in my thumb
-Broke a pencil
-I was depressed for a whole day because I got a 60% on a Eb chrimatic scale
-Stole sheet music from another kid
-Yelled at other when I didn't have my own Bb scale.
-Slammed the door of my band locker
-Was pissed when Mr.Hanna said I probably couldn't play Piccolo for 8th grade band.
-I felt like I got a Piccolo all for nothing
-Lied to my BD.

i just got back from suspention, something new i did! haha there was a sub who i didn't like and our christmas music is real easy. "TAYLOR GET THE MUSIC RIGHT!!!! YOU DON'T WANT TO SOUND LIKE A MIDDLE SCHOOL BAND!!!!!!" and he kept on and kept on. funny thing is i did get the music right. so finally i had enough and i took the music off my stand, stood up, put my flute on the chair so i don't damage it (i don't want to pay for the damages) and i grabbed the stand and threw it against the wall! haha!! everyone was rooting me on too and then i held up my fist and started walking up to him and a trumpet grabbed me and held me back. the freshman flutist that i keep telling u about was just cracking up laughing. then the trumpet whispered in my ear,"Teej, he's almost ******** 80, he's old so he is going to die soon." i laughed and sat down and to make matters worse, he wrote me up! but that was the best day of my ******** life smile yeah, i have temper issues

chibinecochan_13 Bit through my reed. Very bad habbit. sweatdrop very expensive habit! eek I have glared at my music through the measure and then asked the other cymbal player how it goes. and when we cant figure it out we make up something that probably sounds better anyway. xp

penguins_are_awesome265 well i sit and swear to myself and wish that the practice was over and i also suck on my mouthpiece very very bad brass player habit sweatdrop true that. haha i do that all the time. especially with my frustration during marching. i get yelled at and start muttering and swearing to myself. everyone thinks im crazy because of it haha. i sit there with my mouthpiece in my mouth with a frustrated face. or i just walk off on my own.

yelled at the music, then either:
1)kept yelling at it.
2)start it from the top.
3)gave up on it and switched to something i COULD play perfectly and tried to play that. although sometimes i would be so frustrated that i mess up even on that... sweatdrop
4)yelled at my fingers for being stupid.
5)bit my fingers as punishment.
6)kept yelling, punished my fingers somehow, and/or switched to something else at the same time.
7)give up on my intsrument completely, and (if we had free practice like before semester auditions) went to talk to my friends to calm myself down and clear my head.

3) Growl
4) Finger the B flat scale
5) Start playing the vibraphone or piano
6) Yell at the other third trumpets scream
7) Kiss my mouthpiece

I've
-refused to play
-yelled at the section leader (he just yelled back at me -.-' )
-cried (although reading the replies, im finding that this is more and more common razz )
-threw down my trumpet (only to dive down at the last minute to save it XD)
-thrown my mouthpiece across the room
-ripped my music about halfway down (i didnt have the guts to rip it all the way razz )
and...thats all i can think off right now... lol.

1. i have cried like everyone else...(but i like sobbed into the boys shirt next to me...)
2. have stopedplaying and sat there.
3. have broken the conducter stick thing.
4. broke the other stick thing( we now use a chopstick so i cant brake it.)
5. hit the kid in the face.
6. snaped my reed the had to o play 5 dollers to get another....
7. gave evryone the stuiped look.
8. tooken my little clarinet in snaped in half and gave the crazy women cry
9. sat there and smiled
and the sad thing is that i am an upper chair man and everyone well alll 3 ofd them think im crazy....
