In the end, I like Suzaku.

Suzaku had a death wish to be certain. So when the Geass was placed on him he became conflicted about what he should do, more so when he found out for sure that Lelouch was Zero. (Right after the devastating "Massacre" incident too.) I mean you don't think that that would mess with someones mind a little?

He was just a mixed up guy with a lot of issues. (Like every character in the show. lol)

Spoiler--->

Though at the end he and Lelouch did what they sought out to do in the first place by seeing eye to eye and working together as it should have been from the start.

I love Suzaku very much. So really no matter what he does I can't blame him. sweatdrop

In my opinion, the best ending I have seen in forever!
It was simply perfect and when he cried like that....my heart was breaking.

I don't think that he's a traitor, but I don't think that he's misguided, either.
He wants to gain power through "legal" means in order to change Japan for the better.
He just doesn't have the same ability as Lelouch does to see the bigger picture, that that sort of change can't truly evolve without revolution.
As for turning in Lelouch, killing Black Knights, etc., he just sees his goal of a better Japan as greater than them individually.

If only he could see the big picture, that his method won't work in the long run, he could join Lelouch to affect change. (...and I'm not all the way through R2 yet, so don't go telling me what happens!)

I've always liked Suzaku. From the moment I saw him, I knew that he was going to be my favorite character. And I saw the entire 2 seasons, and he still is.

I'm not saying that I agreed to all the things that he did.
Like when he was going to shoot Kallen up with the Refrain junk.
[But he did go back and apologize and took a beating.]
Or when,of course, he turned Lulu in.

But he did make for all the bad things in the end, didn't he?

He didn't turn on Japan, he wanted to fix the system from the inside out.
He already killed his own father, killing a few Black Nights who he has never met are nothing, besides, he was staining his hands in order to do something good, in the army things like this happen, the mentally is that.
Um, Lulu killed the woman he was in love with, we're lucky Suzaku didn't stab Lulu when he had the chance. o.o

Basically i felt an on and off for Suzaku
When he -spoilers- -thought Lelouch- sold him to the emperor to get promoted i got really mad at him stare
Then Lelouch and Suzaku worked together again to make the world at peace
Confusing....

Alright, the title may stir up some negitive feelings sweatdrop but plz don't take it that way (I personally have a on and off relationship with him - one episode i love him, the next i want 2 strangle him stare )

I am making this topic is for expressing ur feelings (negitive or positive) about Suzaku.

Some reasons why i made this is....

1) He turned his back on Japon
2) He killed a lot of the Black Knights
AND (what ticks me off the most)
4) He DRAGGED LULEUCH TO THE EMPEROR!!!! gonk AND THEY WERE FRIENDS!

Why? That pissed me off...

Anywayz express ur feelings plz - defend him or rib him!

Ya I know what u mean. Suzaku dragging Lulu there ticked me off to. But Suzaku lost Euphie and he dosn't know that Lulu didn't mean to take control of her. So hes pissed at him.

Warning: the following post may hold spoilers; read only if you saw the end. burning_eyes

I love Suzaku, but I also feel he's wrong not to forgive Lelouch. There are times when I could've hated him (ex: almost drugging Kallen), but he never seems to make as big mistakes as Lelouch (ex:killing Euphy crying ). Then again Lelouch brought about world peace 3nodding , albeit in a very roundabout way, and released Suzaku from his sins by giving a new identity as Zero. So I guess Lelouch will always be my favorite for that.
Suzaku's permanentely my 2nd favorite for crying when he killed Lelouch crying , though.

Suzaku, in my opinion, is a bit childish a naieve. He's an optimist, he thinks that a system as far twisted as Britannia's government can be fixed from within. I do pity him a times, he lost Euphy, and that had to be hard, but at the same time he is so closed-minded to other possibilities that he fails to see the faults in his own thinking.

Yea sometimes i get pissed at him he like when he sold off lelouch.

BUT sometimes he is a really good guy like in the Novel Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion Stage 0 which was about their child hood

[book spoiler]He killed his dad Genbu Kururugi because Genbu wanted to kill nunnaly because the other brittanian royalties wanted them dead and if he killed nunnaly who seems to have no use he would like get some reward and he was also going to sell off Japan and thats why Suzaku killed him[book spoiler]

but really he just sometimes has some brain probs = selling off here helping there @___@ yea i kinda hate him for his indecisiveness
Well said eek
