I think he's more likely to be an impostor.. he picks the more famous words that the Doctor would say a lot (including Ten's "Allons-y!") and then just throws them out there.. he says 'Sonic Screwdriver', 'Tardis', 'the Doctor', and 'Allons-y' in a Very Important Manner all together in the space of about thirty seconds, which makes it all impressive to that woman, but for us, it's like... WHOA! and little triggers are popping up going "something's not right!!" wahmbulance

(Notice the head-handles on the thing, like Cybermen have.) Hey, dude, aren't YOU supposed to be regenerating or something? lol And, as far as the Chap-In-The-Red-Waistcoat being someone who's learned about the Doctor and is now impersonating him in an attempt to impress women . . . there have got to be worse ways to pick up chicks rofl . I'm pretty sure that there are women alive on this planet today whom you could seduce pretty easily if you could convince them you're a Time Lord, in spite of the fact that they know the Doctor is supposed to be a character on a TV show. BTW, I am not one of them, not because I know the Dodctor "doesn't exist," but because I have a family and can't leave them in the lurch to go gadding through time and space. I'd like to think that somewhere out in the multiverse there is a universe where the Doctor is real and, say, Hillary Clinton is fictional. Yes, I'm in therapy and taking my meds, thank you very much rofl rofl rofl

Well it can't be any sort of incarnation of the doctor because neither recognised the other...Also neither recognise what the alien is (the "doctor says that's new while DT's doctor says to himself "that's different".
Also the person due to replace DT hasn't been cast at all yet so it is unlikely that they would have a future incarnation of the doctor displayed here when more than likely David Morrisey won't become the next offical doctor.
Some of the theories i've heard are:
That it's a parallel doctor that fell through the cracks caused by Rose trying to come back (which is plausible but unlikely as the've had parallel universes before)
That it is a fan who is slightly psychotic and actually believes that he is a timelord.
He is a rival timelord who is trying to steal the doctor's identity
He is another timelord who also assumed the title Doctor when he came of age
Lots of random theories, most untrue but possibly right I guess we'll just have to wait and see...
Oh and I think the cyberman thingy is called a Cybershade. I heard that in some interveiw but i can't for the life of me remember which one...

Unless this guy turns out to be competent and not klutzy. In which case it isn't. mrgreen
