Flower was in shock. She just left without evening saying a word! Was it something he did wrong or maybe he said the wrong thing. He look back down Mt. Maun to see if he did anything to hurt the other tigerlillies that he didn't get. No it could be that! He was very careful with flower and be study them for year.
He jump out of the mountain and ran after her. Gently holding the flowers in his mouth. He had to do something, he couldn't just leave the person that he fell in love with just slip out of his paw like that. "Hot Chocolate! Please wait! I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt your feeling really! Please, wait...lets talk please!"he said almost in tears.

Hot Chocolate froze.
And the ice around her prideful heart melted a little.
She heard the tears and the angst.
It was a battleground inside of her head. Her pride was telling her to move forward while logic warred against the illogical move. Why should she push away someone she *gulp* had feelings for?
Flower was nearby. In ice on a nearby bush she was sure Flowers would pass by she formed the words "I'm sorry" before ducking in a nearby tree, hoping he wouldn't find her.

Flower wonder were she was and start to run even faster. "Hot Chocolate! Please! Come back! Please I'm sorry really" he yelled. He ran and ran and came upon a bush and stop there to rest. He sated down and put his paws over his eyes and start to cry, but because he was fire the tear dry up fast.
"Stupid stupid stupid Flower! How could you every thing that someone as beautiful, smart and caring about flowers would every like you. Who would every like someone like me.. I look like I'm a girl and everyone I meet thinks I'm gay or odd because I'm fire and I love flowers. Stupid Stupid Stupid Flower!" he saying crying.

She was crushed. She felt awful. Like tiny icicles stabbing her left to right. She had made Flowers cry even more. Like George of the Jungle she jumped out of the tree, her head hanging low.
She couldn't even look at him. Coming closer, she nudged Flower's colorful pelt. "I'm sorry" she whispered. "I'm really sorry. Um.. " she nudged him harder "please stop crying."

Flower heard her voice and peek up. Was it really her! Did she forgive him or was it just his mind playing trick on him. He look up and saw her wonderful face. "Chocol..Chocolate...Is that really you? "he said weakly. She nudge him and he felt her coldness on top of his warm fur. "Why are you saying sorry! It my fault. You were mad at me because I didn't something wrong!"he said worried. He drop the flowers down by her feet. "I still have the tigerlillies."he said with a smile and start to hug her.
"I'm so sorry Hot Chocolate. I cause you all these problem. Please forgive me. I really like maybe even love you...I don't even know why because I just meet you but it seem like I knew you for quite some time. I'm just so sorry."he said crying and still holding her.

Guilt was eating at her. Stupid pride was what got her into this mess! But she did feel bad.
"I'm sorry I ran away. I just felt bad for being so useless. You risked your life for a flower I really liked, and I couldn't help you. I HATE BEING AN ICE TYPE." The tigerlilies at their feet were so pretty though.
"I'm the one that should be asking for forgiveness. I uh.. really am *fond* of you, Flower. I think we will be great for quite a long time" She was blushing head to toe. What would the other ice think? Oh to hell with it. She was being hugged and it felt glorius.

Flower was worried about Hot Chocolate. It seem like something was eating in the inside. "Are.... you ok Hot Chocolate? It seem something is bother in the inside and don't worry about that! I don't dare that you didn't help! I was more worry that you would get upset there then you helping. I would be completely unless if we went to My. Kaupa! And you like what you are! Your unique! Unlike me there's a lot of fire but not a lot ice out there!"he said trying to cheer her up.
He look up at her still hugging her. "What sweet things to say about me, Hot Chocolate. I'm glad that you think we can be together for a long time!"He said blushing.

"I'm okay..." She liked the feeling of the hung, and didn't think she would ever get bored fo it. I guess you're right. There are areas where I'm better. We compliment each other. You and I.
Sniffing she looked up, feeling a lot better. Yes, Flower was bright but he was her sun. As lame as that sound, she felt loads better just looking at his smile. Smiling she suggested, "Let's try planting the seeds or bulbs of some of these tigerlilies and we can wear the rest."
