"Nice to meet you too. Yes, I'm Bailey." the boy intoned as he sat down across from them after he'd paid.
Ebby grinned and took a bite of her pizza with no hesitation. After she'd finished it, she grinned. "We eat out a lot cause Mommy can't cook and Bailey's still learning. I like pepproni." the child explained.

Adhara giggled at the little girl's slightly off pronunciation, as well as her straightforward talk about her family life. She was really quite open, though Adhi guessed that she'd been the same way at that age; it was a good way to be, after all. Well, in most situations. The Lust spawn tore off a piece of pretzel and stuffed it in her mouth, slowly finishing off that part of her food, kicking her legs beneath the table, always needing to move, just like her virtuous half.
"Me'n'Noah eat out a lot, too, but he's a veg-e-ter-ian, so we never get anything with meat in it. He's tried to cook a few times before, but the food always turned out really weird," Adhara stated with a nod, taking another bite of her pizza now that the pretzel was gone, even if this meant that the food had cooled a bit. "Ginny can cook pretty good, though. She taught me how to make pumpkin cookies from scratch, and they were really, really good. It was fun." She looked over toward Bailey, tilting her head curiously. "What d'you know how to make so far, Bailey?"

"Eggs, bacon, stuff on the grill, pancakes." the boy listed idly with a shrug before getting back to his food. About that point he realized they had no drinks. "I'm going for a soda, you two need anything to drink?"
"Icey tea, pwease." Ebby commented. The l was off due to her being mid-swallow on a bite of pizza - she usually had that word right. "Thankies Bailey."
"What's a veggie-tree-in?" the toddler asked her older friend, breaking off some of her pretzel and dunking it in the cheese as she spoke.

Adhara nodded with each listing off of separate things, envying the fact that this boy already knew how to cook so much while she wasn't even allowed to use the oven by herself. It was probably for the best, though; knowing her, she would make an entire feast in one night and they would have to shop at a wholesaler to make up all the stuff that she'd have used. That, or she would burn the entire apartment complex down. When Bailey made a comment about getting drinks, she finally noticed that they hadn't gotten anything to drink. "Um, could you get me an apple juice please?" she asked as politely as she knew how, before settling in to wait for the boy to return with their stuff to drink. "Thank you!"
Adhara giggled, amused by Ebony's pronunciation once more. Children were of utmost entertainment, it would seem, even if she was one of them. "A veg-e-te-rian is somebody who doesn't eat any meat at all. Instead, they only eat veg-e-ta-bles and fruits and stuff like that. That's why I've never had meat before."

"Oh." Ebby said, cocking her head to the side. "Mommy told me meat comes from animals. That makes me sad cause I like animals. But meat is good for me and she said it's important in life for animals to eat other animals and that it's part of how nature works. So it is okay for me to eat hamaburgers, even if I like cows."
Bailey returned in a few moments, putting their drinks on the table. "All right, here's the apple juice for Adhi, the tea for Ebby and my soda."

Adhara nodded and ate a few more bites of her pizza while she listening to Ebony talk, giggling toward the end of the whole thing and putting the crust of her pizza back on the plate, to be finished after she spoke her own piece. "Yeah, Noah says that he doesn't eat meat 'cause he thinks it's bad that people kill the cows to make them into food. He says it would be alright to eat it if we went out and hunted it for ourselves," she chuckled a bit at the mental images that such a statement brought up. "I think it'd be funny to see people hunting cows, though I think that some'a the kids from Seven of Seven could probably do pretty good if everyone had to hunt their own food."
When Bailey came back, Adhara smiled happily and outstretched toward her drink, taking a sip of it. "Thanks, Bailey," she said again, taking a longer drink of the juice this time before setting to work on her pizza crust. As Noah said, it was best to finish everything on one's plate, or it would be a waste, which is a bad thing to do, because some people don't get any food at all and would be happy to eat what you don't eat. That was probably why the By'arre household ate leftovers almost every night after an initial meal at the beginning of the week, though Adhara seemed to think that all houses did this.

Ebony smiled. "Bailey told me about something called Cow tipping. It's mean to the cows but funny to talk about. It's cause they can't get up, right?"
"I believe so. I don't recommend doing it, but imagining it doesn't hurt anyone." the boy explained with a warm grin.

Adhara giggled at the thought of a cow trying to get back on it's feet after being tipped over. She nodded in agreement that it would probably be mean to the cows, but it was funny to imagine it, definitely. The little girl finished off her pizza crust, then tentacle that had previously been stroking Ebony overly-affectionately now simply flopped over her shoulder comfortably, stroking her cheek every now and again, or tickling her ear.
Adhi glanced upward, where the sun was high in the sky, and then looked either direction for a ride that seemed interesting. She pushed her glasses back up her nose, before leaning her chin in her hand thoughtfully. "So, where d'you guys want to go now? There's haunted houses, and rollercoasters, and spinny rides, and stuff where you can win prizes, and stuff," she said, nodding a couple times. She'd done a couple of all of the different things, having been there since it was freezing, but was definitely willing to go on tons of other things before leaving.

"What's a rollercoasters?" the purple girl asked, cocking her head a little and pat-pating the tentacle absentmindedly. "They sound fun."
Bailey laughed lightly. He knew very well what Rollercoasters were, even if he hadn't been on them many times. But he wanted to let Adhara explain - the child had asked her, and it was Adhara that brought up the suggestion. Anyway, at that point, he was starting to question if he might not want to go on the ride after eating. He had a decent stomach but still, better not to chance that.

Adhara laughed a little, and looked around, trying to find one as an example. She tapped Ebony on the shoulder, and then pointed toward a large rollercoaster with a big, twisting loop on it. Though it was rather far away, one could still hear the peoples screams as they went down the loop on the fast-paced coaster. She laughed rather sheepishly, and shrugged a bit. "Well, I mean, not all of 'em are like that, y'know.
"'Cause the ones that I like t'go on aren't that scary, but they're really, really fun. 'Cept the ones that are too fast or gots loops on 'em," Adhara explained with a nod. She wasn't really one for the scarier of rides, and some of the haunted houses scared her half to death. So to say, she had a bit of a weak heart when it came to carnival rides. She glanced around once more. Mostly, there were just food places up close, and the rollercoasters were mostly on the other side of the park. Well, more fun for them, then!

"What's wrong with the loopies? They look fun." The girl asked, cocking her head to the side. She couldn't understand why everyone was screaming so much. It looked like a blast to be flying up and around so far and fast! And you didn't have to use any energy for it! Just ride along and have fuuuuuuuuun!

Adhara giggled a bit, amused by the reaction. In fact, she seemed amused by this girl quite often, which was a good thing. Her right tentacle gently pat the girl on the head before messing with one of her horns curiously, given she was only a toddler and they were almost as long as Adhara's own horns. "Dun'no. Whenever I go on 'em, I feel kinda sick, so I don't go on them a lot," she stated with a firm nod of her head. Of course, by 'kinda sick' she meant that she usually puked after the ride, once her stomach caught up with the rest of her body. No less, she'd never been the type to like sitting still on any kind of ride, so she preferred haunted houses and mirror rooms and stuff like that.

Ebony smiled. "That's just cause your tummy's full and you shooked up. That happens when I run too fast or the car we're in's going fast and I ate a lot." the child said with a big nod. She liked being able to figure things out. It made her feel smart.
Bailey smirked. Kids rocked to listen to sometimes.

"That's probably it, yeah," Adhara said with a laugh. Recalling what she'd eaten today, it consisted of sweets upon sweets upon sweets, so it would be no wonder that she ended up feeling so sick. It was a miracle that she wasn't just puking from walking around. "Does that mean that you want to go find some fun rollercoasters, then?" Adhara asked curiously, tips of her wings fluttering just a bit.

"Sure." the child said with an excited nod. "I wanna see how fast they go!"
Bailey smiled and stretched a bit. "I'll wait at the bottom for you guys. I can't get sick on a rollercoaster since I'm in charge of Ebby and have to get us home. I can't do that sick."
