Meaning - theoretically speaking a person who did not register to be a candidate can win the election? you can write in candidates in some states. in others you cant. a person who did not register could never win (even in theory) because only certain states allow write-ins. this is also why it is improbable for 3rd party candidates to win - many of the states that don't allow write ins only represent the two major parties on the ballot, so either a democrat or a republican will get the votes but never a third party candidate in those states.

Battousai Akuma I hated both like most of you. I just hope he does not screw this country up too much before the next election. But the candidates of the next election are more than likely going to be just as bad. xp

Gravechylde Battousai Akuma I hated both like most of you. I just hope he does not screw this country up too much before the next election. But the candidates of the next election are more than likely going to be just as bad. xp worse. palin has already announce she'll be running in 2012

actually she said that the only thing she is foreseeing in 2012 is her daughter going to kindergarten. She never announced she was in fact running.

Even if she does run, she won't get the nomination. People have trouble looking past her personality to see her political views, so she wouldn't have a chance.
I'm predicting that Romney's gonna try again, and I think he'd have a chance at the nomination without McCain in the way.

C'mon, just because their calender ends doesn't mean it'll be the end of the world. These are the same people who thought that horses were mythical creatures, that people with white skin were gods, that ships were moving islands. They didn't even know the rest of the world existed, so for all we know, only Mexico will end. Hmmmm... Actually, maybe Mexico WILL be swallowed back into the earth... Maybe that's why the Mexicans are all escaping to the U.S.... Heh, we should have Immigration Services round them all up and send them back on December 20th of 2012... "Noooo!" rofl
