Bowser looked surprised for a moment that the cubs had actually managed to catch anything so quickly. Then he jumped up with a roar, "HURRAH!"
When he landed, he had pounced all four of them, arms encompassing the two cubs and their prey. He whapped at all four of the heads--lightly for the cubs, though firmly knocking out the prey, "Mighty warriors Kailen and Roxy!"
He gave them both appreciative, though not exactly gentle, licks for their efforts.
If they had been listening very carefully --- Bowser had been too busy complimenting the cubs to do so --- a very insistent, indignant sounding mewling could be heard. It wasn't very near, but certainly somewhere in the not-too-far distance.

Roxy giggles when Bowser bonks her head. She holds the mouse up by it's tail and offers it to the big shelled lion. "You can have it King Bowser!" She offers it as a gift sort of.
Kailen puts the rabbit down and sniffs the air, then waddles off looking around, ears perked. "I heard somethin' over this way..." He continues, looking around carefully.

"I will take half of your mouse, and you can have the other half." Bowser told Roxy, taking a surprisingly bite out of the end offered to him, leaving a little more than half to the cub that had captured the prey.
His ears flew back, then perked up at Kailen's announcement. He tilted his head. "Another runt?" He asked, standing, then laying back down with a grin. "Go sneak up on the sound now that you know how to." A clear challenge.
Sneaking up on the newling thing would not be too difficult. The orange and yello cub making the sound would be found trying to take briars off his fur, and free himself from the briar bush.

Roxy bites the mouse, giving Bowser the tail. When Kailen says that there was a noise nearby, she perks up her ears and climbs up onto the big hill that was Bowser, looking around. She perched on the top of his shell. "Your really tall!"
Kailen nods and stays low to the ground, making no noise as he approuches the noise. He spots a little cub stuck in a briar bush, so he heads over and tries to get it loose. "I'm here to help ya. King Bowser! Help! It's a cub!" He gets a brior lodged in his paw causing him to yowl in pain.

"Well, you're a runt." Bowser snorted to Roxy, then obliged Kailen by coming forward. He gave a sneer at Kailen--wuss!---and especially the cub---bigger wuss and blind to boot! He smacked at the briar bush, tearing it backwards from the newbie to let him run past.
But he didn't help to take the briars out, instead taking those that had stuck to him out from his paw and watching the cubs with some arrogant lilt in his eyes.
"Oh, oh, ooooh," The cub wimpered, trying to turn around to get a particularly hurtful briar out of his hindend, but he was couldn't quite wind himself around that way.
So he settled for prancing and dancing around the area, "Ooohahhahaaahhh!!"

"Hey!" She frowned and batted at the big lion's ears angrily when he called her a runt. "I might be small, but I'm not a runt!" She stepped over onto Bowser's head, looking over at the new cub.
Kailen moved over to the new cub and pulled at briars to help him get more comfortable. "I'm Kailen. The pumpkin head up there is Roxy, and the big lion is Lord Bowser."

"You're a runt!" Bowser insisted, now booming a great big, bass guffaw both at her and the other cubs running around.
The laughter scared the new one, and he smacked to the floor, hands covering his head to shield himself.
"What a fitting bow, runt number three! Cower in my might." Bowser stated, "What is your name?"
But the cub was silent. Bowser's eyebrows knitted together in annoyance, "I asked you a question!" He fairly roared.
"Eeeaap!" Tremble, tremble, tremble....

When she heard him say that, she growled and bit Bowser's ear. She sure was a feisty little cub. But he had called her a name she hated.
"Your scaring him!" He moved next to the new cub and patted his back gently. "It's ok. He's loud, but he's a big softie. Just look what he puts up with." With that, he motioned up to Roxy who still had the big ear in between her little needle teeth.

Kailen didn't know what he was talking about, because the precise moment that he told the little one to look, he swatted at his head, and bucked his head forward at the same time to send Roxy flying off, "Mind your manners!" He roared.
That was the same time the new cub jumped up and flew around to start running off. Ahyeayahaha... !!

Roxy squealed as she went flying through the air. "Ayeee!!!!" She landed on the new cub with a thud, whimpering more in fear than in pain.
Kailen ducked down, covering his head when the pumpkin colored cub went flying over him. He ran over when she landed on the other cub, more concerned for the little guy. "You ok? Can either of you move?"

"Understand?" Bowser demanded.

Roxy rolled off of the cub and looked up at Bowser, nodding. "Yea...I...I do Lord Bowser..." With that said she stood up.
With a quick shove, he helped the orange girl get off the other guy. "I won't hurt you..I promise. Let me help you." He nuzzled the cub's side gently.

The cub ave a cautious peek at them all. He sniffed as Roxy was removed from his back. Slowly he stood, "Uhm-oh, uhm... I--I-I--"
"Where is your mother?"
The cub looked up at Bowser with huge eyes, at first looking liike he'd just rattle his way out of answering, but then finally doing so. As he spoke, he took huge gulps of air as if trying to catch his breath, "The fire got her" breathe "and she told me to run" breath "and I ran" breathe "and ran and ran" breathe "and now I'm here" breathe "And no fire" breathe "and no nobody!"
"Mario! I will make him pay for what he has done to you and your pride! Him and his fire-ball throwing ways has destroyed more than one home. You will be my son, and this will be your sister and your brother, and you shall be..." He looked down at him, knitted his eyebrows, "You shall be more than the fire that destroyed you. You shall be Fuego Atómico, the royal son of King Bowser!"
The announcement didn't award the king the reaction he was probably looking for. Fuego just stared and stared in response.

Roxy had been watching the whole thing silently. Once the cub finished talking she rammed into him, attempting to glomp him. "You lost your mama?" She said as she hugged him. "And your my brother?"
Kailen however walked over to Bowser and sat down, looking up at him. "Your son? A brother? I have a sister King Bowser. And a papa and mama. I'm just following pumpkin head around. I was just following you for fun...I'm gonna go find somebody else to play with." With that he stood up and walked off, whispering to himself..."I'm not weak either..."
((Due to his personality, Kailen is withdrawing from the rp. I'm just keeping him to how he'd react. he got overwhelmed. Roxy's going to stay unless Bowser actually hurts her physically badly or she is told to leave.))

Bowser looked down at Kailen and made an agitated hah-rumphing sound, but he didn't argue as the cub slinked out. He simply glared, his eyes giving a threat or a promise.
"I'm not your brother. I think." the newly named Fuego Atómico looked up with wide, wide eyes at King Bowser. "I think?"
"You shall be my royal son and she shall be my royal daughter if you are worthy enough to so choose,"
Fuego's eyes lit up, "Really? Really?" He turned to Roxy. "Really?"
