Shiba stuck her tongue out and made a face."Boys are horrid creatures! I should know...I have enough brothers and dead beat fathers to prove it. I'm really sorry that they chased you...that's not very nice. Next time you see one of the ones that was mean to you tell me and I'll clobber them! One good thing about having so many brothers was I learned their weak spots!" She laughed and waged her tail thinking about the times she had humiliated many a male.

Ginger smiled a little. "Thanks Shiba. That means alot to me. Its not often i have anyone, male or female, whos nice to me. So i'm glad your going to be nice to me." She said. "Are you hungry? Theres some berries nearby if you want them. And theres also some rabbits in the woods i could catch for you." she said with a smile as she looked down at Shiba with a smile.

Shiba giggled and pawed at Ginger's leg."Well why shouldn't I be nice to you? You've only agreed to help me and and offered your hospitality...You seem genuinely sweet to. I don't anyone could ever be mean to you."She cocked her head to the side trying to imagine how someone could be so cruel. She just seemed to nice to hurt. "Oh and rabbits sound wonderful!"

Ginger looked around. "Well theres more ways to be hurt with out physical contact." She said sadly thinking of Kashi again. "I'll lead you to the rabbits though." she said as she stood up and stretched a little and looked down at Shiba. "Do you feel rested enough after your travels to come with or would you like me to go get them?" she asked with a smile, her tail swishing a little in happiness to be doing something for someone.

A look of concern briefly flashed across Shiba's face...but..she knew that a smile was always better received than a slight frown. She shook it off and smiled brightly at Ginger. "I would love to go with you. Hunting in a group is always fun..not to mention I'll most likely fall instead of land my catch." She giggled once more and tried to stand up only to trip on her tail."Ouch...she wahat i mean?"

Ginger smiled and helped Shiba up gently. "I'm glad. Being alone is not as much fun as being together." she said with a smile as she looked at Shiba. "This way." she said with a smile as she headed towards the woods, slowly so that Shiba might not fall on anything on her way there. "Are you ok? your not hurt are you?" She asked looked back at Shiba hoping she would be ok.

Shiba laughed off the fall and hoped backup to her feet with a smile. She followed Ginger towards the woods and took extra care to watch where she was going. Not that that would help..but she might as well be as careful as she could. "I love doing things with others..especially since my quest tends to keep me solitary...and I'm fine I swear. Trust me I fall all the time."

Ginger watched her get back up and nodded. "If you feel like anything hurts or somethings wrong let me know as soon as you can." she said as they walked into the forest. She sniffed about looking for where the deer had been last. She hoped that Shiba would stay ok, she was a nice DF and Ginger didn't want anything to happen to her.

Shiba laughed and sniffed along besides Ginger trying to locate some prey. "I really am fine...I swear I could fall down a mountain and not get hurt...I mean I fall down a lot...but I'm resilient." She walked forward a bit and kept her nose to the ground. If one were to watch her they would swear she was still a pup the way she moved and walked. She had never gotten over her clumsy stage and it certainly showed. She even had a few scars but they were long faded.

Ginger watched Shiba, she seemed ok like she said, but Ginger was going to watch her closely, she wanted to make sure. She didn't know why she was wanting to keep her safe but she didn't want anything to happen to her at all. She smiled softly thinking to her self that she had a friend now...but she was cute...Ginger looked away, could Ginger feel that way again...? No...it was too soon since Kashi broke her...Ginger lifted her head and watched the forest for something to prey on. "I'm glad i don't have to worry too much then Shiba." she said softly with a smile.

Shiba looked up from the forest floor and smiled sweetly at Ginger. She sure was nice. maybe it would be a good idea to rest for a few days and stay here for awhile. perhaps she could make a new friend and enjoy herself a little?"Yup don't have to worry at ...Ouch" She trailed off as she ran face first into a tree. "I'm ok...I'm good..."

Ginger laughed a little as she looked at the clumsy female as she hit a tree. "Keep alert or i'm going to have to watch you all the time." She said as she looked over the female quickly to make sure that she really was ok. She giggled a little and then moved on quietly looking for the deer that should be near here some place.

Shiba wrinkled her nose a little bit and blushed. " Heh...sorry" She stuck her nose back into the foliage and then stiffened a little. "I ..I think i smell something...that way" She pointed deeper into the woods and began to slowly trot in that direction.

Ginger chuckled a little to her self and followed the female. She wondered how long Shiba would stay, she kinda liked having someone this fun around to watch over and it deffenatly wouldn't be boring or lonely with this female nearby to keep her from being alone.

A twig snapped in the distance and Shiba's ears twitched as she located the sound swerving from her original path. She sniffed the air again...speeding up now that she knew where she was heading. Her paws were surprisingly quiet for her normal demeanor but she was determined not to make a fool out of herself any more today. Especially not in front of ginger.
