The future is ever changing. Although as the current time tells, as Midnight grows older she will eventually gain her dream of achieve Super & Eternal strengths.

As Super Sailor Midnight, Sanguine will offer his help as becoming his own scythe as use for a weapon Midnight would learn to master. Even though this new thing has become available, Midnight leans towards a more healing approach as she discovers her own amethyst crystal that her mother insinuated had been inside Midnight all along. With her new found strengths, she would be able to confront King Iltar and regain her family & friends she had lost, counting that he had already not disposed of them, and dispose of King Iltar

When Sailor Midnight becomes Eternal, she would be near her mastery in the art of illusion. Sanguine, having nothing more to fear of the king, he would be able to return to his normal humanoid form. But, instead of leaving Midnight as they both anticipated would happen, he insists on staying to help her and the other Soldier teams. Much to her discontent, she allows him to stay "just in case".
Back in her home for the next few hundred years, with the help of the Elders who survived the attack, Midnight would be ever training. Far surpassing any skill a normal shadowmancer would never be able to attempt. One day she would be called to a conference with The Court where she would be accepted as one of them, The Youngest of the Elders, standing near 1,400 years old. As part of her new found achievement, they would oblige her, on their behalf, to aid in the protection of the new Kingdom of Crystal Tokyo.
Later.. and Later..
They send Midnight & Sanguine off with enough money to finally be able to afford an apartment to live in, as they spend most of their first few days wandering the streets. Soon, Midnight would be able to gain jobs as a tutor to new Soldiers, mostly in basic school studies rather than actual senshi training. Eventually, as the days progress Midnight would begin to lose more and more of her eyes sight. Unknown to her previously was that, as a Shadowmancer gained higher levels in their senses and abilities, they would no longer need to use for sight. Midnight would have been angry at first, but then realize that the Elders were correct after she consulted them. She would still able to function as normal, still being aware of her surroundings and people. Though, would still very much dislike it as Sanguine would tease her every so often regarding it.
---
As an alternate belief, if Midnight were to follow in the regular lifetime of a Soldier and were to become a Queen, she would indeed need to marry a King due to never being a Princess before hand. In either reality, not only would she hope to someday run into the love of her life, she would also want to ensure the survival of her next of kin to be the new protector of their homeland, and not have to struggle with their own power as she had.
She would be strongly against time travel and would not offer it as a form of learning, but..she would never know. Kids have all kinds of ways to get into mischief, even if they don't technically exist yet.
