"Or they'll just think it's an unrelated act. Or a copy-cat. Or maybe they will know it was us. I'm not sure. I don't know how smart they are. But okay, we go for one in the same area. Doesn't matter, either way. I don't care what they think, so long as they're good and terrified." He grinned.
"Well," he said, rolling his shoulders back and watching her thoughtfully with his red eyes, "since we're already moving in steps, we'll just go for an older one, but not a full grown one. Or maybe one that's way old. I don't think we could match the speed or strength of the full grown ones yet, anyway. I mean, we can always wait until I get... bigger..."
He frowned, not liking to admit that he was small. Yet he knew he was growing with every passing day, larger and stronger than he was the first day they had met by far, and it wouldn't be too long before he could match her for size and speed, and they would be a true force to reckon with.

Giza looked thoughtful for a moment, and then nodded, "Yeah, I think we should aim for a old one... we've already got a little one. Then, when as we both get bigger, we'll work our way up.. the food chain, so to speak." She grinned, seeming to be very fond of this whole idea.
She stood up, "And who cares if they fall for it or not? As long as we have two groups who know that something very bad is happening to anyone who gets too close here... we'll have started our own legend. We just have to think outside the box a little! Come on Doto, you're better at this kind of thing than I am!" She turned, wanderng towards the edges of their meeting-area.
"I just know that our destiny is out there waiting for us... we can't rest. Not until we've made sure that they're all very, very afraid of us..." She grinned over her shoulder at him, "And you know how it is... you and I, we're good at being feared."

Doto laughed. It seemed he was only laughing when he was in Giza's company. None of his siblings offered him any kind of amusement, beyond when he upset one of them and got to enjoy their reactions. He nodded and rolled his shoulders back again, this time because his muscles were growing increasingly anxious with all the talk of action.
"I'm sure it is," he said, following after her, flicking his tail at the noticeable size difference but doing his best now to ignore it. They had moved past it, after all. He just had to let it go, "everyone will know who we are, and won't be able to do a thing about it. They'll either be too scared, or too smart. And we can handle whatever brave idiots try to stop us, and it will only make us stronger and more renowned."
He sighed, eyes scanning the distance. He wasn't sure if they would be able to find a herd in the middle of the day, with the sun as high and bright as it was. They would be better off hunting in the evening or night, which would present them more chance of success. He did not know when older gazelle ventured on their own, and he wondered if they should do some casing before they set out on their task.
And, of course, he had his father and family to worry about. He couldn't stay too long gone. He wondered vaguely if he had been gone too long already, once he added the time it would take to track down, catch and play with a gazelle, or if he could fit in the game today.
Frowning, he didn't voice any of this thoughts. Instead, he simply said, "do you want to try it now, or meet again?"

Giza paused in her enthusiasm and sat down abruptly, "Huh..." He did have a point, when he said it out loud... if she stayed out for too long, then her parents were bound to realize she was gone... and if her father came looking for her, then there would be trouble... especially if they found out she had a friend outside the family. No. No that would simply be no good at all.
"Erm..." She mentioned, racking her brain for an idea, "Well... I guess it would take a while to hunt them down... and it will be getting late soon... and I don't know..." She sighed, immediatly bored again, "No fun! We can't find one before night fall... and I haven't slept yet!"
Groaning she looked at him, "Maybe we should try tomorrow instead? When we have more time... I mean, we made our plan today... tomorrow we'll at the very least be able to find where the rest of the herds around here live... and maybe catch them if we have enough time... Blarg." She expressed her feelings in one word.
Still, she had to be realistic. And really, they still did have enough time, when she thought about it... It wasn't as though they were getting old, or something silly like that. But she really did hate being dissapointed.

"Then we will meet tomorrow. The last thing I want is my father to come out and find out about any of this. Or a nosy sibling. That would definitely ruin the fun, I think." He laughed ruefully, looking up at her with his eager red eyes.
"I don't want to play unless you're rested. It seems you're always up when you should be sleeping, and that's hardly fair. We'll find a time when we can both be at peak energy, or even when I'm supposed to be sleeping, just to round it out. It is easier for me to sneak away, I think."
"Don't worry, my friend," Doto said, with surprising sincerity, "we'll still get it. And we'll have more fun with it for the wait. Let's meet again, here as always, tomorrow, and see if the fates are working on our side. I believe that they, whatever they are, will be."
(I was thinking we could end this one and start a new one for their adventure, or we could wait for Doto to grow before they can actually find something to hunt... or whatever you want. Hahaha. ^^ I love RPing these two together. XD They're pretty much growing up together, which is fun.)
