Chuckling softly once more, Samantha nodded her head slightly with a mischievous twinkle in her emerald eyes. 'I shall take that as a compliment.' Of course, it could mean a lot of things really, but she wasn't going to waste time thinking about it.
'Very well,' she nodded again, looking quite comfortable from her resting place as she began speaking, as if this was story time. 'Obviously, in contrast, the South is quite hot. The air is sometimes almost like liquid. I've seen Helixes overheat and pass out from the combination of heat and humidity along with exertion. Observation is a good way to learn what not to do,' she quipped with a wry grin.
'Still, the prey is plentiful and well-fed. The jungles are easy to hide in and stalk through, but keep in mind that you're not the only one who can do so. The deepest parts of the jungle can be dark and it rains often.' She shifted a bit, leaving out her distaste for this last fact while trying to think if she'd left anything out. 'I suppose that's the basics. It seems that all territories have their benefits and their dangers. Just depends on what you're prepared for.' She flashed a knowing grin at the other pup.

"This will be very helpful for me in the future I'm sure. I thank you." Nodding he processed the information and stored it in the recesses of his mind. Once he got home he'd have to inform Tempest.
"Have you heard of these new creatures that apparently are showing up? I've only heard whispers of them. Sounds down right foolish to me. I mean please squirrel sized helixes? And these weird animals I've heard about just doesn't seem sane."

Samantha frowned, refusing to show that this latest information had thrown her for a bit of a loop. 'Squirrel-sized Helixes? You're pulling my tails.' He couldn't think she was that gullible, could he? Then, almost as an afterthought, she muttered quietly, 'Hmm...wonder if they taste like squirrels? Might not be such a bad thing. Depends on if I could catch one...'
Was she kidding? Who knew.

Nodding his head he knew why this seemed so strange he couldn't rightly believe it himself. "I wonder if the deer like creatures are edible......" Thinking on this he decided he needed to test this out or discover the information.....whichever came first.
Standing up he paced back and forth wondering what he should do if these strange creatures should be real.
(Should we do something between these two?)

Samantha pondered this as well. Deer-like creatures? That was interesting. 'Been a while since I've had deer. It's quite delicious, if you haven't had it before...' To be honest, even if she was skilled at hunting for herself, as a pup, she still didn't have the size needed to take down a deer on her own. She'd been lucky enough to come across a half-finished carcass once after the Helix that had killed it had finished eating and left. There hadn't been a lot left, and most of the choice meat was gone, but it had been enough for a lone pup to make a feast out of.
'Where have these odd things been seen, or...been reported to have been seen, I should say...?' Yes, she was still skeptical, but also curious.

Scoffing at her he rolled his eyes. "Like I know. Such foolishness is not something I search for information about. It interests me slightly yes I will admit but something like that? Oh no not my idea of fun." Turning his head away from her he gazed toward the North wondering if his mother noticed his absence. He didn't want her to worry too much but he was sure that he could stay for awhile more.
((Like some kind of plot or something like that XD))

Samantha mimicked the action, rolling her eyes as well. 'For someone who came here seeking information, you seem to have gotten sloppy in other regards. I would think that one gathering information wouldn't discriminate so hastily. You never know when knowledge might come in handy...and even if it turns out to be untrue, it hasn't hurt you for hearing it.'
She stood and stretched before standing tall. 'Even if these creatures sound absurd, what if they were to turn out to be dangerous? Wouldn't you have rather known where they'd been seen so that you'd know whether or not to be cautious in your travels?'
She may have sounded harsh in her rebuke, but for Samantha, life was about survival in a rough world. She'd never had anyone to look out for her, parents or otherwise, so she'd had to learn early on how to take care of herself.

Scrunching up his nose at her he sighed. He didn't care about these creatures unless they stepped into his territory. This female was getting on his highest nerve and this bugged him. He didn't know whether to attack her for questioning him or lick her for being somewhat sensible unlike most helixes he had run across. Barring his fangs he snarled as he trotted a ways away.
"If it doesn't enter the North I don't care what these creatures do and I'm sure their true nature will be revealed before I ever run across one." Looking at the sky he noticed it getting darker and felt a tinge of warning in him.
((If you want an actual rp for Sam meeting Warren I could always have Tsuki meet Warren and introduce the two? Since this rp really seems to be going somewhere do you want to end it? XD))

Normally, such behavior would have set off Samantha's temper. He'd invaded her space and now he was getting hostile with her? However, something about the whole situation amused her greatly.
'So you come seeking knowledge, but only about certain things in other territories. Strange creatures that could prove to be a threat mean nothing to you. Oh, but you gained some knowledge about the weather and such, so I'm sure it all evens out.' She chuckled to herself softly, shaking her head in amusement.
Still, she noticed something odd in his movements and she tilted her head. 'So, you got somewhere to be or somethin'? Lemme' guess...you got a date and you don't wanna' be late?' She smirked cheekily, unable to hold back now that he'd already proven to be hot-headed and possessing a tendency to irritate her. Only fair she return the favor.

"Feh! I don't need no stinking females! They're nothing but trouble and your no exception! I'm fine on my own. No males or females to slow me down. That's the way I want it." Growling to himself he walked over to Samantha and got right in her face. "Why? Does that bother you? That I might be off to find myself some pretty pup tail and that you'd be left here all by your self." Snickering Tsuki was in a bad mood. Worse then usual. And he was taking it out on poor Samantha.

Samantha bristled automatically, doing her best to reign in her natural urge to tear into the obnoxious git who dared threaten her, even with posture alone. 'Says the pup who still lives with mommy,' she sneered, letting her distaste show. 'You're a walking set of contradictions, yet you're nothing more than a spoiled pup with a big head. I wish there was some female stupid enough to be waiting on you somewhere 'cause it'd mean I'd be rid of you and have my peace and quiet once more.'
Her tails were lashing violently behind her now, her claws digging into the earth below. She had been minding her own business before this jerk showed up to ruin her day, attacking her, attempting to bully her, and just being a general idiot. Yeah, she was pissed and it showed.
Sneering, her fangs flashing in the sunlight, she continued in a low growl, 'I'd suggest that you remove yourself from my personal space, and quickly, before things get any uglier. Tall order, yes, but perhaps this is a good time for you to run on home to mommy...or off to chase your imaginary 'pretty pup tail'...I really don't care.'
She held her ground, refusing to back down or even return to her comfortable lounging space until the irritating intruder had been dealt with.

"Oh why thank you miss. I find your lovely compliments as kind as your tails are pretty." Growling Tsuki dug his paws into the ground making his stance firmer and more steady. "I'm sorry but it seems this space has taken a liking to me. Oh and it can't get any uglier sweetie you're already here."Smiling his teeth and eyes glittered maliciously. Tsuki knew he was a mama's boy, he really didn't mind that but he wasn't one to back down from a challenge.

Now, normally, Samantha wasn't one to start a fight. She'd sure as hell finish one, but not start one. However, in her mind, this fight had already been started by the irritating pup in front of her long before physical blows could be exchanged.
Oh wait, they'd done that too.
Fine, time to finish things, as that seemed to be the only path left for her to end this pointless exchange.
'I wasn't sure it was possible to get much uglier than your face, you suckling pup, but just in case it is...let's see if I can't make it so...' Without another word, she darted forward, curving as if to attack from the left...
...then revealing her feigned attack at the last moment, darting in from the right and low, jaws open and teeth searching for Tsuki's front paw.

Feeling fang connect with paw Tsuki growled and twisted his body trying to throw her over his own body. While trying to dislodge the fluffy female from his paw, he lifted his back paws and aimed for her lower belly. She was getting in way over her head and he was going to make her see it.

Snarling viciously, the multi-tailed female clenched her jaws tightly, pissed enough to want to do some serious damage for once.
She had a short temper yes, and it took a number of factors to set it off fully. The problem was, once her temper exploded, she lost control. If mad enough, she went into a sort of battle haze, dropping all inhibitions and thinking only of causing as much damage as possible in a short time.
A short time, not because she was depending on said time to overwhelm an opponent, but because that short time was how long the true battle lust lasted. Her inhibitions would return with time and she'd hesitate to truly harm another in any permanent fashion, especially if that was the way she was headed.
Right now though? The battle lust raged. It was a mixture of anger and fury and a touch of survival and preservation instincts honed from her lonely life.
Emerald eyes sparking with fury, she reached up as the two began to roll, lashing out with her front paws, hoping to rake her claws across his face; she didn't care where. The first of his kicks connected solidly with her stomach, nearly knocking the air out of her 'til she tensed her muscles as she'd learned to do to minimize that very risk. Still, this was a bad position and it was time to get out. Best look for a more advantageous position. Giving her head a final shake before releasing his paw none-to-gently, she snarled and kicked out with her own back paws, using to force to rebound and get away from her opponent. She hit the dirt and whirled on her paws, seeking a solid position as soon as possible, her tails lashing angrily behind her as well as aiding her balance.
'That all ya' got, kid? Gonna' have to do better than that.'
