"A family is what every mare wants.You would make a great mother.Just as long your not one of those snobby mares.I'm not hateing on them.They just have babies that are snobby.But your a very nice mare."Niele looked at the mare."I wouldn't rush the whole family thing.Take your time in finding someone that will take care of you and not leave you."Niele ate a bit more of her apple and finished her snack.
"A couple is enough.Yes."Niele looked up at the sky and smiled.She breathed in the fresh cold air."You pick.Anything would do."

The Christmas mare couldn't help but smile a little sheepishly. "Thank you. Yes, I want to find someone special before I decide on something as big as that..."
Then Teppy took a moment to think about what they should do next. "Well, every morning I come to this tree and then I go to a little stream down in the forest. It's a bit of a walk through the forest." It was a clear day; perfect for traveling. "I mean, if you would like to come along."
She flicked her tail before she strode down the hill where the apple tree grew before stopping to see if Niele was coming too.

"Well dear.I just wish you the best of luck.Not many nice gental stallions anymore."Niele looked at the mare."I'd love to come along.I haven't been on a adventure in ages!"Niele smiled and troted happily after the mare.She whinnied lightly and followed her.
Niele was an old gal but she still acted like a foal at some points in time."A walk in the forest?Hmm.I've never had to walk into the forest before.Care to tell me whats all in the forest?"Niele knew there was Skinwalkers and many other animals.Mostly she was afraid of skinwalkers.They sent a chill down her spine.

"Great!" Teppy said a little excitedly. It had been AGES since she went traveling with a friend. The last time had been in her foalhood. She went into the forest through a large gap in the trees, and made her way through them carefully, not wanting to catch her mane on anything.
"Well, in the forest there's a lot of birds," she answered with a grin. "When we're deeper in the forest we'll be able to hear them sing. Sometimes I see other things too... furry ones that live on the ground." She didn't know all the names of them. The mare remembered that one was called a 'fox', and... "Oh, and some big ones too. Like bears. It's best to stay far away from them."

Niele smiled lightly.She never really got out of the teepee.Watching Brian as a colt,Zillah makeing sure she wasn't getting into trouble,And Soup not getting anyone pregnate.
"Ah.There are also bunnies and other furry things."She stoped and hear '...some big ones too. Like bears.'Niele blinked a couple times and felt nervous."Y...You mean skinwalkers?That look like us but have skins of animals on them?"

The Christmas mare shuddered in fear at the word 'skinwalker'. "Yes, they live here too but I haven't seen any... I hope I never do!" Teppy said nervously, looking about the forest. The trees had shed most of their leaves and now that she thought about it... the bare ones looked almost creepy.
"Let's just think of meeting bunnies," she giggled, checking to make sure they were going in the right direction.

Niele walked close to her."Teppy..Why must we be in the forest?Its just so scary back in here."Eachtime Niele took a step she could barly put her hooves down."Bunnies are cute,foxes too.Just not skinwalkers!"Niele rushed up beside Teppy.

"Hey it's okay, I assure you," Teppy said, touching Niele lightly on the shoulder with her muzzle. "I used to come here as a filly, by myself sometimes... I think a Skinwalker would live deeper in the forest." Her tone of voice was reassuring, not only for Niele but for herself too. "See, we're almost at the stream." She looked between the trees at the shimmering water on the ground.

Niele nodded her head and tried to smile lightly."Okay."She smiled and looked around."I guess your right."Niele heard a stream of water moving ahead.

Teppy came to the stream and dipped her head to take a drink. The water was cool and clean. She took a few more mouthfuls before looking up again. "That wasn't so bad, right?"
