To tell you the truth I'm not really sure. I was in my bed, wishing I was in the forest in front of my house, then I was! I felt the cold night air, my cloths even moved to the wind, and I felts the sand and leaves beneath my bare feet. I walked around, and wanted to get back after 20 min or so. But I couldn't. So I had a thought, I stood next to a tree and touched it with three fingers (with my writing hand btw), and thought of my bed, and how i was laying in it, all curled up,facing the wall. I felt really warm, and I was back in my bed room with the blankets on. Strangely though I didn't have them on before I left O.x

Electric Snowball Has anyone been able to control it? I have controlled it, from quick jumps in the beginning to long meditations where ive traveled without even liftiong a finger.

Actually, astral projection can be tamed by meditation, where you project to another astral plane consciously, it should stop plaguing your dreams once you start meditating regularly. If the dreams don't stop or you have trouble meditating: go to an herbalist, shamman, dream analyst, necromancer(not common) or find a mentor. You can usually find a really good mentor in wiccan/craft shops and on specific online sites. I would be careful with the online option, though; really use your good judgement skills!

Hmm. I do meditate sometimes, but not regularly. I think I'll try that. Thanks!

That's a really helpful link. I'll think I'll try the gazing technique. It's true that I sometimes fall asleep while staring at something, so that might be how I astral project accidently.

I've actually turned myself while falling and fell right out of bed. I also have a habit of suddenly sitting up straight and looking at the nearest clock even if I am sleep-moving or awake. It gives me a surge of energy and then I feel relaxed after I realize I'm okay.

Astral Projection for me happens after I have spent a lot of energy or when I am in a state of mind where I feel calm. I'm usually walking when it happens but I stop myself before I wander off too far and pass out.
[As I've stated earlier I apparently have a clock-staring thing I do when I need to check time.]

Yeah, those dreams are crazy... I used to have them a lot more often when I was younger. Sometimes I dreamt I was falling past the back porch of one of the old houses I lived in over and over again. Other times I was flappong my arms and actually flying for short distances over strange places and landscapes. Once I was walking towards a cliff edge and a white wolf yelled at me to stop, but I stumbled and fell. More recently... I had a sort of vision of the future in a dream. I was all wrapped up in one of my afghans on an armchair, and for some reason I felt uncomfortably hot and sick. Then my nephew asked, "Have you seen the green man?" And it actually happened. I swear I felt sick in the actual dream. Sometimes I wake up feeling like I dreamt about something important, but can't remember what. And sometimes I hear my mom's voice telling me to wake up.

BloodyCherrypie oh man I know ya'll have had these experiances. Have you had dreams were you are falling and falling, have you woken up suddenly out of breath, gasping? Have you felt like your being held down? This is astral projection..out of body experiance. I get these quite often,I just pray to get back into my body fast and not get scared...but I get scared each time, knowing that its just me trying to get back in. But yeah I wanted to start this topic!really koolaid, much love That's astral projection? what about if in a dream you get hurt and when you wake up it feels like it actually happened to you? and also, someone told me that they used astral projection to watch me sleep...should i believe them?

Scubas_girl and also, someone told me that they used astral projection to watch me sleep...should i believe them? That is when you need to put up a ward and perhaps some barriers around things. That sounds like a stalker... The only reasons you should have to believe them are: if they had your permission to see you, are a trusted friend, and you feel their presense. If not, then make sure to clean your aura, sweep the house of energies and then place a ward containing your house. If you need a ward method, please let me know ASAP, if needed.
