Fiercefire had been rather happy to escape most of her little sister's fledgling stage at the time, but now that she was planning on a clutch, and now that Fira was here...well, it made her wonder if she should have hung around at least a little longer. Maybe if she had, she'd have gotten some experience - not to mention that she probably wouldn't now be bothered by niggling feelings of guilt about it.
Nudging them to the back of her mind to be brooded over later, the Trapper nodded. "I'll probably need some help with my traps and things, when...well, you know." Grinning, she fidgeted slightly. "Would you like to see some? There's bound to be something for us to eat, too, if you're hungry."

Her mother had been sure to impart as many parenting tips as she could before the younger Hunter had been allowed to leave. Stuff about feeding chicks and when it was safe to let them hop out onto the branch, and anything else she could think of off the top of her head. Fireflight had been close to asking why their mother hadn't just come herself, but she supposed this was supposed to be an experience for her. Still, she would much rather talk about hunting than minding. And it seemed her sister had moved onto a similar topic.
Fireflight's ear tufts twitched as she bobbed her head. "I would love to see them." She would be daft to pass up a chance to look at the traps. Of course there would be much studying in secret, but a lesson from Fiercefire wouldn't be a wing beat in the wrong direction. And, now that she thought of it, she was getting a little peckish. A snack wouldn't be a bad idea either. The food might not taste exactly like home, but she would have to get used to it.
After all, this would be her new home, at least for a little while.
