I can't change my eyes either, but I've gotten used to it. XP But eye patches work, neh? This adorable heart one would never work ^^ No. They're always covered up by my hair. XP Camron Flamheart Technically, grombies were only set to be a Grunny-Human hybrid species, not really zombies. It was only thought as a zombie skin, because of it's appearance. And the huge rabbit sticking out of it's head at stage five.
But, some people call one thing something else, a title really doesn't matter. As long as the person's not a complete douche about being a grombie, it really doesn't matter. And, as we all know, many were being douches in that event, which is why there's still racism and such running around. God, I miss that skin.
Anyways, congratz. You may very well be one of the first Grombies to set foot into the zOMG!, as there are so little of the race left. Good thing X isn't stalking Barton with his big ol' needle. We all know what happened last time. Yes, many people were douches during the event. I was the one constantly sneaking into their "enforced" threads and posting anyway. XP Thank god for the delete button. I might not be a grombie today without it. Still, I've met more decent grombies than a*****e ones. Its hardly a fair stereotype.

It's because most of the assholes got banned for no good reason thanks to the new system, along with a countless number of other people. Either that or they got reported for douching up the GCD when they got drunk. It happens. But, at least more of the better ones are starting to come up now, I'm seeing more and more of the good grombies coming back to their accounts or back to Gaia in general. For some reason, many of them left I think, I know a good few of them did. Probably all of the people annoying/taunting/harassing them. You even said yourself you felt like you wanted to quit being a grombie from time to time. Perhaps that was the only *safe* way for them. Just to leave the site in general.

Jeeze...
I turn back into a Grombie for less than 24 hours, and I'm immediately reminded why I was tempted to give it up. Two separate threads about us in the GCD. Granted, one is a pro-grombie, "Why the hell do people think they're elitist" thread, but that brings in just as many haters as threads complaining about us. It seriously makes me sick to the pit of my stomach to read some of the things people say.
And then another one that appears to have been necro'd a while back about a skin re-release. It seriously makes me mad to see people discussing the re-release of our skin as if we have no say in the matter and it doesn't concern us... and of course, if we're opposed to it, we're "elitist."

.. I remember one thread in there that was pro-Grombie, but to the expense of calling the zETA! testers elitists. Some people, like me, are torn because of how much they want the skin back, but don't want it enough to be called elitist for posting in a forum a few times. It's like getting the Glompie skin, but only if you post fifty times in the event forum. A few years later, they'd be calling both Grombies and Glompies elitists. It's just some of the newer testers being nubbish because they don't have everything in the world.
As for necro'd thread, it's better off rotting in hell at this point, necro-nubs are nothing but idiotic bandwagoners who think it's good to bring back the dead. We don't have the Zombie skin for a reason, people! A lot of folks got shot that way!
Cheer up. In a few years, you'll wear the title of Grombie as a symbol of your experience at the site, and as a proud reminder of the past. I'm sure that things will get better as new skins are released, especially when the 2k4 Zombie skin is re-released as a cheap potion. They're still working on that, right?

I can sympathize with you TIM for the Longest time I've been an elf and I just can't see myself going back to human even before the event I was an elf.
