MegaTherion777 My Hollow The worst thing about Metal, is the fans. Or so Trevor says. I agree with him. For the most part metal fans bug the crap out of me. Now most of us in here are different but, hey we can't escape it. There's always that person who is up in your face, being obnoxious. That really get's on my nerves, "WHOOO I'M A METAL FAN! I LISTEN TO SLAYER!!! I DRINK BEER AND I'M 14!!!!!!" actually, that stereotype applies more to shitknot fans than true metalheads, from what i've seen Sounds like the stoners that surround my school. Talk big s**t then nothing to back it up. Always hear what they drink, smoke, snort and ********. Practically proves that most people are morons anyway.

I've also noticed the size of the venue, makes a difference. The Sidebar Tavern (where Declaration of Doom was) is easily the smallest club I've ever seen, the standing area was not much bigger than a double wide trailer (including the bar, and the spot where the bands played), but you can't ask for a better crowd than that.
Then at the 9:30 club when I saw Mastodon, and then again when I saw Down, there were many obnoxious people there. The Isis show had a good crowd though.
Though I guess that could be attributed to the popularity of the bands involved.

My Hollow rolleyes I didn't mean that the age limit should be 16, it was a freaking joke to mess with the dipwad that was next to me without long hair attempting to headbang.
