At this Adeto jumped up and snarled. Now he knew he'd heard something and it was close. He started into the fog, a deep growl in his throat. "Show yourself!" He said harshly, his fur standing up. He wasn't going to let someone so close hurt his lake.

Lothaenorixius didn't care about the lake itself. But there was no convincing the other. He didn't speak. Why should he. He couldn't see the other, but he could hear him. He wasn't far from were Loth was now. Silent as he could be, but, that could always change in the matter of seconds. He was just listening, and waiting for something to happen.

The faint light made the other male's eyes glow red as he started to pace around in the darkness. "I said show yourself." He snapped heading in Loth's direction with intent to take out who ever had invaded his territory. He sniffed at the air and made threatening growls as he traveled forward.

Lothaenorixius didn't want to leave, but he knew when his gig was up. He frowned at the thought of that. If only the other would fall asleep he could sneak by and grab one, but him and his not so quiet feet at the moment seemed to make it really hard to do that. He let out a silent sigh, and decided to give up for now. He'd be back for one of those rocks. The male couldn't stay there forever. He'd have to run off to get food sometime or another.
He heard the other's foot steps, and turned quickly to move away from the situation completely. Another time, another day. He'd keep watch of this place. At least for a little while. If he found a better rock, he'd find himself forgetting the ones this male had showed him. He flicked his tail, stopped, looked back once more into the fog that seemed to just swallow everything, then continued to leave. Making sure the other could hear his paws padding off in a different direction. Would give him a little more ease, for him to forget about his run in.

Adeto listened carefully, ready to take on the intruder. His ears perked at the sound of the other padding away. Just encase he didn't get the message he snapped his jaws at the air with a sharp snarl. Good. Turn around and keep going stranger. He didn't want anyone hurting his lake, his home. Bristling he returns to his stones and lays down in his pit. The other male was right and it put him at ease. His world was safe again.
