"Woah!" Shadow cried, when one of Aurora's flailing paws whacked him, causing him to roll and fall off his father's back. "Hey!" he called at her, angry. He gave a squeaky growl and tried to pounce on her when he thought he saw one of his father's ears flick. Distracted, he went towards it instead, and grabbed it in his small jaws, tugging and bracing his paws against the floor, one paw pushing against Ark's face. His throat vibrated with another growl and although it sounded more like a purr, he was too busy tugging to worry about how weak it sounded.

Azula lifted her head when she heard one of her pups call, blinking the sleep out of her eyes. She thought it was Shadow, since he was always so loud, but she saw that he was busy playing around with Aura on Ark. Looking around, she finally spotted Erebus a few feet away and went over to him, licking his cheek clean. It had been a while since she or Ark had caught any meat so she went into the nearby forest instead and came back out a few minutes later, rolling a peach towards him. Most of the fruit had been eaten by that time and it was getting harder to find more. She missed the feeling of wind brushing her fur and the power she felt in her paws when she hunted but she had never left her pups alone and she didn't plan to anytime soon.

Ahhh food. Erebus smiled up at his mother and yipped when she brought back his fruit. She munched and dug his face into it, getting his fill... the entire thing when he was then tackled by his sister. With an ouf he had fallen over and he started kicking about with his legs trying to get at the source. He bounded away a few feet from her. He lowered his chest down, his tail starting to wag... and he yipped at her again. He had just eaten and this wasn't what he had wanted to do, but.... He then bounced off and weaved between his mothers legs and sat. "Ha!"

Shadow was once again knocked back by his father's sudden movement. From his point of view, low on the ground, his father looked like some sort of awesome hero and he yipped at him proudly before circling around his paws, pouncing and attacking them. Surely, if he could defeat his father in a brawl or at least have the same strengths as him, he would be a hero, too. He gave a squeaky roar and charged at one of Ark's legs. Sadly, he wasn't very strong yet and this only resulted in him hurting his head. He glanced at Aurora, disbelieving. He would never admit he was scared. He lost intrest in his father, seeing her play around with Erebus, and he bounded over to them, wanting to join in on the fun.

Azula smiled back at her pup, licking his forehead once while he ate. She looked down curiously when Aura poked her, listenting. She was left confused by her words. Her father had never scared her before but this was her first litter and she wasn't sure if fathers were supposed to. The only thing she was sure about was that she loved them, but that was all. She hung around them, trying not to lose sight of them, and trusted Ark to help her. Since he had Victoria, he was experienced, right? She licked a paw nervously, glancing at Ark and then at Aura. Luckily, she was spared from having to do anything as Aura's attention was suddenly on Erebus. She watched them romp for a while, knowing she wouldn't have to worry as she did before. She had gotten used to it and knew they wouldn't get hurt from playing around like that. Aura was still too small to actually hurt Azula and she placed her paws protectively in front of them. "Hello sweetie." she cooed back, nudging her nose with her own. At first, she wondered who this "mama" wolf was but later figured out that it was her. She had also learned some other nicknames, such as "sweetie" that she had just used, "honey", and a couple of others.

Shadow, excited to be included in their little game, circled alongside his brother, tackling Aurora's hind foot when her tail was swatted at. He gnawed at it playfully, his ears flattening. She was the youngest and was always fun to romp around with, even if she was a girl. They rolled around near Azula, sometimes going under her or crashing into her paws. She didn't seem to like those much and laid down closer to Ark after a while. Shadow soon left Aurora's foot to tackle Erebus instead, nipping at his ears.

Azula thought the lick was nice. It made her feel better, at least. The nuzzle was obviously affectionate but Azula, having no experience with these kinds of things, only placed her head on her paws, hoping to stop it so that she wouldn't have to do anything in return. "Yes," she murmured thoughtfully. "They love you, too." she continued, licking her nose. Of course they would. Pups always liked their parents, right? She wasn't completely sure but there was no evidence to prove her wrong as of yet. She smiled back, her eyes drifting to watch the pups play around. It seemed safe around Ark for now and she hoped that staying close to him would keep them from playing around her. She had seen Ark romping around with them before but she feared that if she tried, she would hurt them. They looked so small and fragile to her and she flattened her ears, worried.

"Waah!" Shadow cried as he fell off of Erebus and onto the floor. He growled as the dust rose around him, and he flipped around so that he was on his back. He started to paw at Aurora's belly to try and get her off. Just in case that didn't work, he grabbed one of her paws in his jaws and yanked at it. Of course, that was kind of hard when it felt like half of his face was being pulled at and he glanced at his brother to see if he would offer any help.
