She moved closer to him when she called. "Well, good thing you did run here. I'd have never found such a grand flower." She said as she peered passed him at the lovely flower. Oh, she wanted it, she wanted that flower so bad. But she also wanted it to continue to grow. "Rare you say? I say we should let it grow." She smiled.
"As much as I'd want it, but if I take it, then there wouldn't be another to replace it, right?" She asked him. She wasn't sure how flowers grew, but she knew one had to be there first. "If I take this one, then no others would grow, I pretty sure." She nodded. "It's beautiful though." She added hoping she didn't upset the other at all.
She felt selfish wanting to take the flower now. There were so many others to have. She could always gather them and come back to see that flower until it died and more grew in it's place next spring. "And I'm sure your mother would love it!" She said with a smile. "Any mother would."

Sumati stepped to the side to make way for Lulua "I know, it's quite unique." he agreed. "As you wish." the cheetah boy said, swaying his tail "Tough I think you should have it, you don't know if you'd be back here again. And I'm sure there are others like it around." he assured her. He didn't want her to go unhappy only because he said the flower was rare.
But she was right. "I agree with you. It might be better if you waited until there are a few more. " he said with a nod. "I'm glad you like it." Sumati smiled. "I hope you're not mad at me for showing you something you can't have, not right now anyway." he laughed nervously.
"Yeah, she would." Sumati said thinking of his mother and how happy it made him when she smiled. "I'm glad I got to show it to you too."

Lulua wasn't sure why he thought she'd be angry at him at all. He did show her this place, and he did show her the flower, and he could have just told her that he didn't know any such flower of that color. "Your silly, how could I be angry?" She said with a cheery voice. Boys were sure funny, she thought as she looked back to him.
"It'd make me more happy to watch the flower gain more flowers of the same." She told him. "And I won't forget. How could one forget about a place like this?" Though, she didn't plan to show anyone else except maybe one of her sisters. It wasn't to be trumpled or destroyed. that'd make her very sad.
"I can't thank you enough." She told the other. Her mother always told her to say thankyou when ever you think they were doing something nice for you. So she did, when ever she thought they were being nice.

Sumati blinked and his expression looked very sheepish for a moment. He then laughed, realizing she was right. "I'm glad you're not. And yeah, I guess I am being silly!" He probably looked really stupid right now.
Sumati listened to her patiently and admired Lulua's ability to think ahead. He was still such a cub, he always did what first came to mind, never giving a thought about what could happen later. "I don't think you'll forget. It's just that...life's life." the blue cub wasn't sure himself what he was trying to say so he just shut up.
"You are so sweet." he said in response " And smart, too. I think my momma was right when she said girls mature faster than boys." She had been a little upset at the time, but he couldn't blame her. Three wild boys were quite the handful sometimes.

Lulua'line always thought about stuff, unless it came to sneaking away. Why think of the punishment you'll get at the end if caught until the time comes? It made going out such a drag, but without thinking about it, it was like a new world of awesome opened up for her. She grinned at the other. She really liked hearing complements, even if she didn't understand some words the other knew at the moment.
"I suppose that's right, but I'm sure not all the cases. I'm sure some boys mature faster then some girls." She spoke even though she hadn't a clue what that word was... Mature... She'd have to ask her father later. He was always good for answers, at least she thought so. "And your sweet too." She nodded. She'd never met any nice boys that weren't related to her. Well, she hadn't met any boys she wasn't related to. So, she guessed they weren't bad, even if they did have cooties.

"Yeah, I suppose..." Sumati agreed. He had met some animals that didn't act their age at all. In the end it probably comes down to their upbringing, he concluded. The little cheetah often bothered his mind with such silly questions. He thought about the randomest things, and tough he didn't look it, he was very bright for a cub.
Sumati smiled at Lulua and then looked at the flower again. "You heard that flower? She'll be back so you better grow some more pretty flowers." he said it with a very serious tone but he was just joking. He liked making his friends laugh. He thought Lulua was a very good friend despite her being a girl. Some of his friends thought that girls weren't much fun but he now thought differently. Lulua was very nice. He hoped they would meet again in the near future. Tough with her family being rogues it was up to their parents if they were going to stay near the Achana.
"Well, I suppose we should go then." Sumati turned to leave the spring and all its colorful flowers. "I'll have to go back to the den soon." However he had time to walk her out of the jungle before that. It was easy to lose your way here.

"My mother will be looking for me soon if I don't get back." She nodded with a giggle as he spoke to the flowers. Could flowers actually hear? She wondered that, but if they could, would they even listen in the first place? Lulua was a average cub. Not that smart, yet not stupid either. Though, that never was upon her mind. She was better at things then the rest of her family, yet also she had some down falls that everyone else as well.
"We should play again soon!" She told the other. She knew they wouldn't be moving unless something threatened them. Other then that, she'd be safe where she was. "Bye!" She said as she turned and went the way she had came.

"Definitely!" Sumati grinned "I look forward to it!" Maybe next time he could introduce her to his brothers and some of his friends. He thought she'd like to meet creatures from other species like lions and hybrids even.
"Bye!" Sumati watched her go and then disappeared in the opposite direction. He hurried back home to tell his mother and his siblings of this adventure. Sumati shook his head with a smile. Lulua was an interesting person. He hoped their next encounter would be as much fun as this one.
