Jaha mimiced her play crouch position as he watched her spin about wildly. He lifted himself back up as he realized that she was running straight at him. Or rather... not so straight. She swerved madly as she bolted towards him, but at the last second, she ran straight at him with a giant leap. He felt a dull hit as she landed on his huge white head. Playfully, he tilted his head forward and shook her mostly off until she was mostly off.
As she held onto his face, he saw nothing but a pink and white blur. He heard her joyful panting and then felt a small moist tongue pull itself over his forhead. Jaha then decided to return the lick, only with his massive, kitty tongue.
"Wait, bedtime? But were having so much fun! Does that mean I have to go?", he asked gloomily. He really didn't want to go home. He didn't really have one. And that would mean he wouldn't be able to see Laika for a good while...

Laika frowned, after shaking herself thoroughly and letting out a good long giggle after he licked her. She sat down heavily, thoughtful. She knew she was still sick and she should probably go to bed, but she didn't want to make her new uncle sad by leaving him.
"You can come over to my home!" she said suddenly, not considering the idea before blurting it out. It didn't have to make sense or be reasonable. Sure, her little spot of grass was probably too small for the two of them, but she could sleep on his back! And then after they napped they could play again. All this she decided to share with him.
"My home is just over this way- uh, no, this way- right here! And you can sleep on the floor and I can sleep on top of you and we can nap and then when we wake up we can play again because you shouldn't play when you're tired and because I think I'm tired." She spoke all at once, her words tripping over each other.
"Then you don't have to go!"

"Really?", Jaha gasped with excitement. He had really never had a set home. It seemed so wonderful to have a family. Being able to nap, and play, and play some more. It was like having full-time friends! "I would love that! Because I'm a big fluffy lion and I'll probably be able to keep you warm and you'll have a nice comfy bed!", Jaha said, mulling over all the possible reasons that this was a good idea.
He looked over to Laika, even though she still looked hyper, he could tell she was less energetic, which probably meant time for bed. "Yeah, you look like you could use some rest", he murmured softly as he gently ruffled the fur between her ears with a paw.
He walked slowly over to the spot which Laika had indicated with a large yawn and layed down with a big flop.
"Can I stay with you forever?"

Laika was liking this idea more and more! If he was going to stay with her forever she would have to introduce him to her dad, and then try and find all her other family members she had collected and introduce everyone to her new uncle! It would be a lot of fun, and she was certain they would all like him. She liked him, after all, and she liked all of them. So it only made sense, mathematically, that they would like him.
The Transitive Property of Laika.
She climbed on top of Jaha, curling into a surprisingly small ball on top of his back. She rubbed herself as close to him as she could, wagging her tail and huffing happily. Her little home was small, though he seemed to fit, between a rock and tree. The green grass was soft and it was her favorite place in the world. And now it was even better.
"Of course!" she hummed, already drifting off to sleep.
