That same fear had began to set in that Jupiter wasn't expressing outloud. There was no way in hell he'd be able to raise these two cubs all by himself. Natural insticints took over and he looked at his love's wounds caused by.. their... cubs. He kne that he wouldn't truely be able to look her directly in the eyes after his, but for the time being if it saved her lifehe would do anything. So he did begin to lick her wounds at any cost until he felt the blood subside. Afterwards he laid down next to Jupite closing in their cubs, rying Jupiter would wake up soon.

She slept and slept and slept until all of the day and almost all of the night was gone. When she awoke she was surprised by what she saw first, Xanthus laying before her keeping the cubs between her and him and keeping them warm in doing so. In the darkness she could tell for sure if he was awake or not but by the stillness of the cubs it was certain they were asleep.
Her body still ached and her strength was still low. "Xanthus?" She said in a soft but wraspy voice. "Are you awake?"

Sleeping was not about to be something that Xanthus was going to do until he knew that everything was going to be okay. Especially not with that much blood in the area wth lions like him in exsistance that take advantage of these situations.
"Yes, yes, I am awake. Are you okay?" He asked with 100% care and concern soaking his words as he licked her cheek softly.

In her weak state Jupiter didn't care to keep up her tough appearance. A soft smile appeared upon her lips at his words and the care and concern that came with them. "I think I will be ok. I'm going to be weak for a good while that's for sure." She replied as she lifted her head with a bit of difficulty and looked down upon their two cubs.
"Xanthus..." She turned her gaze on him knowing she needed to say something to him while she still felt like this. "Thank you. Thank you so much for staying by my side. Without you I don't think I'd have been able to do this."

Xanthus had no idea how to respond to all of this. He opened his mouth and closed it again, just ending up nodding. "What're we going to name them?" This was no longer about being bruteish and mean but more about being in strange waters.

Jupiter knew that her out of character mush words had caught him off guard and even in her tired state she felt a bit awkward. "Um... I don't know... I haven't thought that far ahead..." She replied as she layed her head back down on the ground no longer able to keep it up. "I still feel so tired..."

The stirring newborns began to hiss and stir around. "Well they're definitely violent enough, as I'd imagine two perfect spawns of us would be.. Metal and vines combining to make something vicious and brutal to annihilate anything that stands in their ways." With a big smile on his face he watched the cubs in the dark, not sure how they got to be the way they were now.

Jupiter's ears perked up at Xanthus's words. Vicious and Brutal... "Those would be good names..." She said without speaking the rest of her thoughts as her tired mind worked in a bit of an odd way.

Xanthus nodded, "I do quite agree. Vicious and Brutal.. But there needs to do something... A little more... Vicious Murder and Brutal Demise. There, they have names..." The ton of his voice completly altered into a calming groggy tone. "Now sleep..."

A small sleepy smile came across Jupiter's muzzle at Xan's words. "Those work perfectly." She replied in the midst of a yawn and then without any argument at all Jupiter fell back to sleep heading into her own dream land.
