Aradel answered as fast as he could, his brother asking questions quickly. "I do not have a pride formed yet. We are thinking on it seeing as we have a daughter and a son. Rose is beautiful. She is kind hearted, she brought home a zebra the other day. She is blind in one eye though." He smiled warmly. "Who is Sashiko? Would you like to join the family, my brother? I'd be honored."

"Only if you'd accept me brother." Mekare said with an obvious grin as he bowed, "Your highness" He said with a smirk. "I hope your mate wouldn't mind... I need to tell Artemis..." He said more to himself. Getting to the other question he smiled but his eyes showed a sadness. "Sashiko is my adpoted brother... he took me in when I was lost... He cared for me, but when I found Nox we went our own ways... and he travels with his mate. I heard he had daughters now... but I havn't seen him in so long..." He seemed to get distracted, thinking of the past.

Aradel watched as his brother thought about the past. He decided to leave him to his thoughts for now, sitting down thinking of his own family back at their den. He wondered how they were, if they missed him. He snapped back to the present and looked to his brother, waiting silently.

Mekare had traveled to his pride, telling them he had found a new home, one he had missed badly and he needed to return, which all in all was true. He had found Nox and was actually back in the runes with her but now he had gone to see his brother again. He had wanted to see his brother's mate, and meet his children. With a grin plastered on his face he walked into the borders of his pride, roaring to announce he had arrived he continued toward the den.

 Kaya was out chasing after a grasshopper, a good ways away from her home. Though she was still very safe. Her mom had gone to hunt. She chose to go out and play rather than stay stuck with her brother at home. Today she'd have fun on her own. She pounced at the grasshopper with a cry that was a mix of a roar and a mew. She grumbled as she watched the little bug hop away, she'd missed again. "Awww...come back! I'm not gonna eat you..."

Mekare had heard the little cub not far from him, seeing her he grinned. "That must be one of them..." He whispered to himself as he squatted down. Creeping forward he watched as the grasshopper bounded out of the way. "Well... I think I'm too big for you to eat!" He said with a smile as he laid there in front of the cub.

Kaya let out a yelp when a random lion suddenly spoke to her. She jumped and tripped over her paws, tummbling in a brown fuzzy ball. With a thud, she came to a stop at his paw. She looked up at him, eyes wide. Her daddy had told her about his brother. She tilted her head to look at his markings, then grinned giddly and batted at his chin. "Your my uncle! I'm Kaya!"

Mekare couldn't help but laugh. He leaned his head down and nuzzled her. "Yes, I'm your Uncle, Mekare" He grinned and rose. "Where is your family? Certainly you arn't out here alone..." He said with a worried look, his tail flicking behind him slowly.

Kaya giggled when her uncle nuzzled her tummy. She smiled up at him happily. "Oh. Mama is hunting right now. My brother and my daddy are home though. I just wanted to get out without my brother." She rolled to her stomach, then stood and run up behind him. Careful not to scratch hij, she climbed up onto her uncle's back and nibbled on one of his ears. "You look like my daddy..."
