"Yeah... sure..." Narci said, giving Tama a look he probably didn't see. Of course, he liked hearing about all the cool stuff that the heros got, but whatever. He could combine both in a story and they'd both get the best of it.
"Hey, would you like to... I dunno, hear a story?" He sounded a tad hopeful, though wary that Tama might not be as interested as he seemed. Narci didn't make friends easily, after all, and most couldn't see beyond his self-interest. Would Tama turn out to be just like all the others?

Storytime?! Tama was all ears now, a little calmer looking...but still all eagerness in his blue eyes. "I would certainly like to hear a story!" He carefully settled himself far enough from Narci to give him room to tell his story...but close enough that he could hear every word. "When you're ready?"

Narci grinned when Tama so readily agreed, that settling the friendship for him.
Stepping back to give himself room for the some of the acting that helped tell the story, he started in on one of his favorites, about the handsome black lion with purple eyes who saved the pride from the outsiders and won for himself much fame and fortune.
It was going to be an entertaining afternoon.
