Crushed under the weight of the large bull, Ed gasped as the wind was quite efficiently knocked out of him. With a wheeze he pulled himself from beneath the bull while Zamabarau distracted the toppled beast. Despite the minor injury, the strange leopard couldn't help but smile. These were the moments he lived for! When the prey did something unexpected- who wanted a hunt that resulted in no scars? But, as he relished the moment, he also realized the cheetah wasn't going to be able to hold the mud splattered beast for very long.
Lunging forwards, he grasped at the creature's flank with his claws, and hoisted himself back onto the old bull's wide bulk, dodging flailing hooves. Between the fall, his broken leg and the two cats upon him the old beast knew very well his time was at a close. After a few more passing moments, it finally gave in and grew still with death.
Pleased with the kill, Edgarde sat on top of the fallen beast and thrummed. "Ah! He is bested," The leopard purred, and hopped off his bulk, and back into the mud. This was hardly the place to eat- and grabbing it by the neck, the brute of a creature slowly started to drag it towards dry land.
Once it was at least halfway out of the muck, he settled down on the grass to clean his fur. Despite his victory- the old hunter did not seem to be too interested in eating it himself. But he did have quite a few words of admiration for the cheetah. "That was a fine kill, runner." The leopard thrummed. "I don't doubt I could have done it without you. I dreamed it this way, I believe. I'll take his horns for something later."

The slender cheetahress smiled filed for a moment as she looked over the dead body of the beast, she was hungry and she wans't about to sit and let hyenas come and steal away the kill. She bent and tore open the stomach flooding the ground with the creatures intestines.
"I havn't had such a meal in don't know how long, it will keep me going for days." She looked at the dusty blue male and moved towards him looking across his body "Are you hurt?" a moment of worry crossed her face though it quickly faded as she saw he was very well built, he seemed to revel in the pain that had been caused to him by the raging bull.
"And you tree climber, I thank you for your help I haven't had a meal like this for a long time" She murs her voice still scratchy even after taking a chunk of meat and swallowing it without a moments hesitation.
"Will you spend the eve with me sirrah? I cannot protect such a kill." She whispers looking at the big leopard pleadingly.
The cheetahress followed the leopard back to a copse of trees, where they spent the night nestled under the stars. In the morn she ate her fill before moving on to the next place in her endless wandering journey.
