Hak'Zhakuu raised a brow at this. "You think dreams are stupid? Hmm." He made no mention of not having given his name. He knew he hadn't, and he knew why, and that was that. Obviously, almost painfully at ease, Hak slid forward to recline gently before Doto. His posture was one of total relaxed confidence, and his smile added just the right touch of superior arrogance.
"I see. Well maybe they simply think differently than you." He paused, thoughtful. "You know...family is not something you should abandon so quickly. I understand that at times they may be annoying, unbearable even...but deep down, regardless of if they show it or not, they support you." His own father had, at least. Until he'd returned and found...

"They can support me all they want," Doto said with a shrug, "and I'll use them when I have to. But I don't care about them. I don't have to care about them for them to just... hang around, I guess. Whatever. Anyway, I don't know why you're so interested in talking. I've got stuff to do, no-name."
He didn't, really, but it was nice to say it. He knew he wasn't going to head back to his den now, with this lion about, so he considered looking for Giza, or heading out on his own for a bit of fun on his own. He hadn't spent time playing his own games for a while now, having been so occupied by meeting with his one and only friend.
"Is it okay for me to leave now, or are you going to step on my tail again?"

Hak observed the cub for a long moment. Doto had a lot to learn from his family yet. He was young, and frustrated, and full of himself.
If he was older, Hak'Zhakuu would have felt inclined to hold him longer. Maybe even cuff him. But he was not, and Hak's interest had been sated.
"Go." Hak shrugged. "I hope you have fun with your friend," he added before rising and moving off without another word.

Doto blinked and watched the other lion leave, wondering what he had said to end the interaction so suddenly. He didn't mind, however, because now he had his tail back without the threat of it being stepped on again, and he could go back to his family. This was the first time, the only time, he had ever had even the slightest urge to see them. Now he had to wonder why that was.
Irritated, Doto waited until the lion was out of sight before he stood and turned, heading back to his den. What a strange, and interesting, interaction. Maybe, when he was older, he would meet that lion again and they would be able to speak on even playing ground. That would be more than interesting, then.
And maybe then he would get a name out of him.
