"Oh, we could, but I have a better idea. How about that cozy music club under the downtown area? They're having a feature on Bach tonight and Chopin pieces to accompany it."

The elder brought up his hand to cup the features of the other. His careful fingertips traced the curve of his cheek only to beckon his beloved to gaze up into his warm visage.

"Imagine, the ruddy hues of candle light reflecting off the delicate curves of elaborate glass pieces that decorate the dimly lit halls. The piano softly trilling on, accentuating the longing sensuality between just the two of us..."

Swept up in the moment, he could not restrain himself from pulling away slightly only to descend into the rapturous embrace of soft, pleading lips against his brother's. There was no high in this world quite like the heated shudder that erupted through him whenever their lips met and he could only hope it was as such for his partner.

Raizen only lingered for a moment before truly withdrawing from his sibling and pushing himself up from the comfortable situation. A playful smile danced across his visage before he turned and started towards the back of their home.

"Think about that for a while, while I go get dressed."

Dragon purred a bit, as he was wont to do now and then, kissing his brother back with equal fervor, and letting out a slight whimper as he pulled away. However, the tree seemed unperturbed. It simply floated there, even while Dragon rose, and went to get ready to go in his own fashion.
It followed him, as he brushed his teeth, splashed water on his face, and then went to pull on good clothes and tie a tie around his neck. Even as young as he was, this outfit made him look handsome and overly professional. He loved it, because he always got compliments. The only thing he didn't like about when he and Rai went out was that he kept getting mistaken for Raizen's SON - not his brother. And that went a long way in irking him no end.

As Dragon slid back onto the couch to wait for Raizen to get ready all the way, the tree followed him. He studied it lightly as it hovered over his hand, and gave a soft smile to the thing.

"Keep yourself out of sight, and you can come with - okay?"

The tree immediately moved onto Dragon's shoulder, then vanished up his sleeve, where Dragon could feel it, simply staying there, hiding as told. Well... intelligent. That was new.

Raizen made short work of getting ready. He slipped on something classy and almost regal and combed washed away any traces of the day's work. Two golden cufflinks were secured and he went to straighten his hair which had since become residence to the colored ethereal wisp.

As he moved to brush the raven tresses back, blue-green strands entwined themselves within giving an almost iridescent look to it. This certainly struck him as...interesting...but he couldn't help but wonder if the thin spread breeze was comfortable like that.

It seemed to be, for all purposes and even went so far as to cause a contained breeze to delicately pull and play at the ending strands that framed his features. Raizen couldn't help but chuckle, remarking to it, "I doubt I'll have a bad hair day with you around. Just stay quiet and I won't take a sharp comb to you." The reply merely came in a sof whisper near his ear as the cheerful waves calmed to a languid ripple.

Once he'd dabbed on a bit of the cologne Dragon was so fond of him sporting, he slid back into the living chambers and offered the boy his arm. "Shall we?"

Dragon looked up, and grabbed Raizen's arm, pulling himself up, and curling his arms around his brother and lover. He kissed him. Quietly, but passionately, and sighed as he pulled back.

"Lead the way, lover." His head leaned against Rai's arm, and then looked ahead.

He could feel the tree peeking out behind his shoulder- then darting back into some part of his shirt to hide. His hand snaked down to twine in his older brother's, and he followed him out the door, down the stairs, and into the car without a fuss. He was curious of where they were going, yes, but there wasn't anywhere he wouldn't go with his love.

"Where are we going again?" he asked quietly. "I don't want to... you know... make a fool out of myself. Again. Last time, I dumped that punch all over me... To my credit, it wasn't entirely my fault. Dr. Raskin pushed me. On accident yes, but a push is still a push."

After helping his lover into the car and slipping in himself, Raizen started the engine and off towards their destination. To the recollection of the incident, he attempted to quiet the fears of his companion by dismissing the unpleasant thought. "There won't be any need for concern, my dear. We're going to Black Cat tonight. You don't tend to find such unsavory company in an underground lounge you know..." At least not in the sense of rivals to their profession anyway.

He chuckled softly, the wind responding to the pleasant emotion by sending a languid ripple about the air. "I'm sure everything will be fine."

The trip was not one of monumental proportion but took some time to traverse the back roads of the downtown area. As the way was a well-known passage, the trip didn't take too much time at all and they soon arrived in the lot. Raizen slid out and retrieved his mate, guiding him from the slowly chilling night into the more sultry atmosphere of the lounge. A table was procured in little to no time (as the place was more so a hole in the wall than a fantastic spectacle) and a bottle of wine hastened to their company.

Rai delicately poured the burgundy liquid into a crystal flute and offered it to his aficionado.

Dragon took the wine, and sipped it gingerly, the sounds of the music drifting in and out of his head. He didn't have more than one sip, however. For one, he didn't much like wine. For two - he was likely the designated driver. After a moment, he looked around the room. The tree in his sleeve peeked out a bit too - but did not try and come fully into view. It knew that Dragon would be mad at it, if it did so.
Sighing, the younger male leaned forward with his elbows on the table, and rested his head in his hands. He wasn't so much concerned for the music - as for the company he shared.

"Rai... it's been too long since you and I went out on the town like this... Why don't we go dancing after dinner? There's that little club down the way... Maestro's. We should head over there."

He picked up a menu, and looked at it.

"AFTER, however, I order the glazed ribeye, and a salad. It's been WAY too long since I've had a real meal."

The music was nothing short of beautiful as it drifted on. Yet it seemed so distant whenever he glanced Dragon's way. Love always had had strange effects on people. Perhaps the music just wasn't up to par with the voice of his lover? Most likely it was his sentiment, and the smitten state was evident as he watched him.

The wind also seemed flirtatious, coiling itself around one section of Rai's hair to give a braided appearance as it snaked out a bit to wave at the Willow. it wasn't dually concerned about being seen as it seemed and made sure to get the attention of its' opposite.

To answer the query, he nodded. "That's an excellent idea, you dance so well, I've missed it."

But than, he always missed Dragon. Even a few minutes apart led to thinking of him in some small way. As if to reflect their bond, he chose something complimentary to the flavors of the others meal.

"I think I'll have the grilled shrimp with a bowl of potato soup to tide me over. Does that sound good?"

"Sounds wonderful."

He looked up, just as the waiter came by, and had to blink a little in shock. The boy serving them was none other than one of his classmates, Caine Carthwright. Caine winked at both of them, and gave a nod of respect to Raizen - since he knew he was an actual doctor, versus an intern like Draco.

"Imagine seeing you two here tonight! It's a nice night for dining out, though. Quiet. Peaceful. Anyway - what can I get you to start with?"

Dragon looked at the drinks, and smirked when he ordered, knowing Raizen wouldn't be surprised at his choice

"I'll just have water please. Oh, and can we have an order of nachos for an appetizer?"

Caine drew out his pad, and wrote it down.

"Good choice. They're going heavy on the meat and cheese today. Oh - do you want your water with lemon or lime?"

"Neither."

"Alright. And for you, Dr. Arrikanez?"

The sudden arrival of a familiar face caught Rai off guard as well. The surprise was pleasant enough, though, and he welcomed Caine with a nod of acknowledgment.

"Good to see you again, Caine. If you please, I'd like a nice glass of white wine please. How have you been?"

"He's been fine, thanks."

A hand fell on Rai's shoulder at the comment. Jason had not been far behind Caine once they had spotted their classmate and superior. He winked roguishly at Dragon as he leaned on the borrowed clavicle. "How goes it, Dragon?"
PostPosted: Mon Nov 10, 2008 6:06 am

Caine laughed, and shook his head fondly at his roommate as he paused in his work to make his way over to Caine's table, and lean on Rai. He reached over to ruffle Jason's hair.

"Boss is going to have a FIT if she sees you over here, Jase."

Dragon was surprised to say the least. And a little... antsy. Jason was ALWAYS hitting on him in class.

"Err... it goes fine, Jase. Good to see you." Something occurred to him then. "OH. Did you get the notes from Doctor Grizzam's lecture? I forgot to bring my notebook that day, and had to listen and remember. And you know how bad I am at that. And the test on skeletal structure is Wednesday. You put two and two together. Err... do you have them? Like, in the car or something. PLEASE, Jase..."

Caine eyed his roommate and then Dragon, and laughed again, jotting down Raizen's order. He spoke to Rai while the other two talked.

"May I suggest the salmon with the wine, Dr. Arrikanez? On the house. I'll take it out of my own paycheck. It's just that it's so delicious today, and it would make a great compliment." He chuckled. "And I'm assuming that you won't be touching those nachos. That's for Dragon, isn't it?"

While all this talking was going on, the Willow had decided that there had been enough hiding, and had gone from Dragon's sleeve, to right inside the shirt of Jason from the back. Then oozed over from there to the boy's chest, hovering. Dragon's eyes went wide, and he glanced to Raizen to see if he saw the impending disaster.

Jason chuckled a bit and playfully swatted at Caine, sticking his tongue out in a coy manner.

"I believe I have NO idea what you're talking about, pretty boy. Besides - Dragon doesn't mind," He turned to grin at his now uncomfortable classmate, "Do you, Dragon?"

Raizen cleared his throat a bit to draw the hunter away from his mate.

Jason knew better than to tango with Rai and backed off a bit, deciding better to just answer the question. He slid his hands behind his head in a relaxed stretch and nodded. "As boring as some of that lecture was - I have them in my car out back." And unable to resist, he followed up with, "And a couple of other things I could show you and Caine."

Before he could be swiftly smitten, Caine drew the fire away from Rai. The man gave a look of warning to Jason but turned his attentions to the matter of meal. "I couldn't ask you to pay for my meal, Caine! I'll take up your suggestion though and have that on your recommendation though. It does sound delectable at that - and you're correct, I leave the nachos to Dragon. He's earned them after all. I must say that you-"

And then the movement caught his eye. Something green and brown oozing up under Jason's shirt in the background sight. Rai tried not to stare but suddenly found there to be a distinct lack of words coming forth as he watched the whole thing fall apart in slow motion.

You see, the Wind had NOT been turning a blind eye and had decided that against its usual benign stance and passive drifting its way through life, it was jealous and would not stand for this blatant seduction of his bonded! The wind tore itself from Raizen's crown and set itself at Jason. Angry winds tore at the man's hair and clothing with unrelenting fury.

This, as well as the realization something was on his chest, caused Jason to yell in panic and swat at the Willow. This did nothing to help the matter and only caused the wind to get angrier.
PostPosted: Mon Nov 10, 2008 5:31 pm

Caine snorted as Jason commented, sighing, and shaking his head as he wrote down the final dinner order. Had he been sporting a tail at the moment, it would have been lashing. He'd had enough of his roommate's antics to last a lifetime and beyond. He didn't see what was causing the boy's shirt and hair to be mussed in all directions, but he didn't honestly CARE at this point. He grabbed the back of Jason's shirt, and shoved him toward the door.

"Go get the notes, and let me do my job. And stop thrashing. It looks wrong."

He walked off from the table to get Dragon and Rai's orders ready, completely unaware that he'd just saved Jason from an even worse beating from the irate Willow, who scooted back into Dragon's sleeve hurriedly, and flashed an image of someone sticking their tongue out in Jason's general direction.

"Imagine having to live with him all the time." Dragon said, snickering. "Poor Caine must be half nuts by now."

Jason clung to Caine desperately, glad to be rid of the disgruntled phantom. Dismissing himself with a shaky nod towards his mentor he found himself hurrying off and away with Caine acting as a not-so-human shield. Even despite what had happened - Jason was still adamant with his usual mannerism.

"I could show you something that looks right, but let's save that for when we get away from the crazy color thing."

The wind calmly drifted back into its obscurity. Proceeding to blend in, the breeze went quiet and still once more.

Raizen shook his head, hand covering his face. "well, that ended...well.."
PostPosted: Mon Jan 12, 2009 5:23 am

"Jason saw both of them, love." he said quietly, tapping his fingers on the table in nervous staccato. "He saw them, and he's going to tell someone, and they'll think we're crazy! Gods, what do we do?"

He was really worrying and panicking about this. There wasn't really any CAUSE to, per se. Jason and Caine were both used to these sorts of occurrences. After all - it was Gaia. Strange things happened on Gaia. Stranger still, apparently, than the fact that both Raizen and Dragon were not from this place... To Jason and Caine, they had made the very real confession that they were aliens. Dragon thought that they were even starting to believe that one. As a matter of fact, the intern wasn't entirely sure he was ready to believe that himself, even though it was the complete truth in all senses of the word. He looked over at Rai, holding his lip between his teeth as he contemplated - it was a bad habit.

"Hey... Caine and Jase are friends, right? They wouldn't tell? They wouldn't?"

Raizen wasn't given a chance to answer, as Caine swept back over with a loaded tray of nachos, some milk, and a side-dish of fried cheese-sticks. He knew Raizen loved them so, and another customer had offered to pay for them. He wouldn't tell Rai who - but Doctor Grizzam was in the building, and very close to these two. Both in proximity and affection. It was just as well that Jason had left. What Caine had to tell the both of them might upset his irate roomie.

"Here you go! One Colossal Nacho plate, and a milk. You get free refills with this tonight. And for Dr. Arrikanez, we have some of our famous cheese-sticks. On the house."

He smiled, and winked at the two, before leaning closer.

"My manager saw the commotion. But I managed to convince her it was nothing. PLEASE keep whatever those things are hidden. I need to keep this job. But I will be calling you two after I get off work. I'm curious. And I'm sure Jase is too. After all - whatever it is just attacked him."

Raizen calmly stroked back his hair, and the wind, and calmly leveled the matter. “He has no reason to tell, dear. No one in their right mind would believe that a streak of color and a floating tree would simply appear and jump a waiter. Just calm yourself and act as though nothing just happened.”

The pupil-less ice blue eyes drifted upwards towards the wind’s altitude and narrowed warningly. To an almost inaudible whisper his voice dropped and he chastised his newfound companion, “As for you. I shan’t have you blowing around at all, so sit still and try to be transparent – at least for the evening.” The wind moved not, perhaps giving compliance or simply ignoring the man. It was impossible to tell which, but regardless, it was still and stirred not even a hair out of place.

It was just in time to, for Caine had made his return promptly and had done so with much appreciation to Raizen’s particular tastes. His eyes widened at the sight of the savory cheese sticks and he grinned wide as he reached for a particularly plump looking specimen. “Oh Caine, you’ve outdone yourself! These look absolutely scrumptious…” He then took too it, only nodding in compliance to the secretive nature of it all. Only once he finished his first stick did he bother to off comment, “If your manager has any grievance, send her over here, so I can compliment the excellent waiter who brought me my cheese sticks. I’m sure she won’t have much to say after that.”
