they are these shadowy creatures that just came from no where one day they are randomly picking civilians and killing them

hey i was just getting ready to go look for a job wanna come with? we could go to town and pick up a bounty.

Sure...but I don't like the sound of those shadow creatures...does anybody know how to fight them? If not, then I guess I'll just have to find out myself. It sounds serious.

climax: i think we got our guys I think we can take them, i'm curious to see these "shadow like creatures" up close now that i think of it they have quite the record this should be interesting

Pssht...magic powers? They obviously haven't met me...but in all seriousness, I think we can definately take them.

*drops all the confidence and a look of sadness crosses her face*

Only problem is, I don't have my sword anymore. It was stolen from me a while back...and I kind of need it. I know that it is somewhere in this town, but I don't know where. It's a bluish rapier with emeralds in the hilt, if that helps you any. Have you ever seen a sword like that around here anywhere?

Hehehe...well, you see, it's a tricky little piece of work. I made it, and for some reason, it kinda only works for certain people. I don't know why...but it doesn't matter if you're the best swordsman out there, if you don't pass the sword's test, then it will make you look like a novice.

*pulls the sword out of the ground and puts it in the empty sheath hanging from her waist*

But I wonder how that guy got it? He wasn't the one who stole it from me...ah, well,...at least I have it back now.

So, just where are these bandits? I haven't had a good fight in a while.

*The other two waste no time, and immediately begin pulling out knives and swords, which all get aimed at climax. Mia pulls out her sword and parries a few blows before stabbing one of them, then uses magic to paralyze the other as climax stabs him*

Well, that wasn't too terribly awful...so what's the catch? It was too easy to defeat them...

*Warily looks around to see if anyone else is there, but only sees climax cleaning his sword*

"shadows fly overhead and the men float up"

"the three of them layugh in unison"

"the loud noise comes closer and the shadows swirl the air"

"the shadows enter the three men's bodies as they pulsate in the air gasping and groning"

"they fall"

"a large thump sounds in the distance"

"climax is running towards you"

"the three men disappear but seem to leave something behind"

climax: what are they zombie witches? "sigh"

*climax opens a portal and goes back in time without noticeing he is in the second dimension*

*thinks to herself* Owww! How...what...why can't I get in? Nobody has ever blocked me before...

Yeah, I guess...But the more important thing is, are you ok now? Goodness knows we don't need you blanking out in the middle of a battle. I'd like to keep my life...I've got a job to finish.
