Zaafarani probably wouldn't have known how to control others if she had tried, honestly. Mostly because what others did and didn't do didn't really concern her. If there was one thing Ani had never been, it was 'controlling'... she was pretty content to let bigons be bigons in the scheme of things, as long as people left her out of it. But this didn't make her stupid, just generally indifferent... and very good at sensing when others were manipulating her. But then, her opinion of others manipulating her generally bothered her as much as it... didn't. As long as she avoided bodily harm, what others did to her just made her shrug. "I suppose. I just don't see the point. Everyone has... their own business."
She watched him move, tilting her head to the side. He reminded her of something... what was it... a fish of sorts she had heard tell of once... Eh, she couldn't be bothered to remember. "Why would it matter if you controlled someone or not? When it comes down to it... you're all that matters. I mean, as an individual, I matter to myself more than you matter. You matter to yourself more than I matter. So who cares what people other than you do? Why control anyone?"
She tilted her golden head, her eyes watching him curiously from their dark pools.

Her last statement made him grin wider than he had before. Why? Why was one of his favorite questions. Why was an infinate possibilty question; one of his favorites actually. He perked up his ears and sat down quickly, sending up a small puff of dust. "Why?" He repeated to her, his head tilting this way and that way. His creepy little grin still stuck to his face like smashed bug on a warthog.
"Because It is fun." He said simply, rolling his shoulder blades slowly against his back. He didn't really need a reason to do anything. "Nothing is more fun than controling ones descions and thoughts. Course, you are true in your words... I matter more to I than I matter to you... and that is how it should be."He said, nodding quickly. He then stood up, shaking his pelt before looking westward. His small pack would be moving out soon. "I may have to excuse myself miss Ani..."

Ani tilted her head, considering his words. Because it was fun? She had trouble imagining that... it just seemed like a whole lot of work that she really didn't want to bother with. But to each their own, she supposed. Ani would never understand it, having been a very direct person her whole life, "Because it's fun... well, whatever makes you happy, I suppose. I'd rather nap."
But she was glad that they agreed on some things. They both mattered to themselves more than they mattered to each other. At least she had one social 'custom' correct... even though it may not have been politically correct. It made sense to her. She nodded to him as he decided to go, "Thank you for this chat Gin... you've given me much to think about. Fare well."

How could he expect someone unlike himself to understand his ways. He smiled to her, dropping his torso low in a bow of respect-lifting only his maw to speak. "It indeed was a pleasure to meet you as well Ani. I do hope we meet again some day-I rather enjoyed out little visit." He stood up and squinted his eyes more than usual. "And I need the occasional creature to talk to that doesn't hate me."
He stood and with a flick of his tail, started to trek away from the yellow female. "Take care of yourself!" He called over his shoulder.
