He laughed. "who knows, but the moment someone figures it out, I will be the first who wants to know!" He said with another laugh. He tried to be nice to the creatures and cause little, if any, pain to them. He was sure digging his claws into helpless fish wasn't very painful for the fish. He didn't know though. They didn't do anything but giggle. No sound, no nothing. Did fish have no feeling? Or maybe they had no voice box that he could hear.
"Do you want to be told how to catch a fish, or shown?" He asked the other. He was perfectly fine doing both.

Nash considered for a moment and then sat down - curling his tail about front paws with a little nod. "Please, show me... I'm curious to see how it's done," he replied with a small purr.
It should be interesting, that was for sure. And he rather thought fish tasted good, so it would be a good skill to learn.

He smiled and nodded at the other. He crossed towards the water and slowly entered it. Cold wet feeling surrounded his legs as he slowly moved. He didn't want to startle the fish. "You don't want to move fast, or it'll scare them." he made sure to tell the other. "It's all about patients." He added as he was now looking down at the fish below. He stood there and waited. Waited for what seemed to be a long time, at least to him. It was probably because of the water. How much he didn't enjoy it. He put that in the back of his mine. He was in the water up to his belly. His under belly getting wet as he stood there. He watched the fish as they swam around his legs. he was waiting for them to get closer to his mouth. Which was hovering over the water. "You have to wait.... for them to reach close enough to the surface." He made sure he put every detail into words.

Fascinated, Nash edged a little closer - just short of getting in the water himself. "Okay..." he said quietly, not wanting to startle the fish. Though, of course, he had no idea if they even had ears or not.
... A fish would ears would look really silly, come to think of it.

Narhari never thought about ears on fish, but he was sure they could feel vibrations like bats or something. He was watching the water, with his nose almost touching it. Waiting. And Just like that, a curious fish came up to look at whatever it was looking into the water. Narhari thrust his face towards the little fish, though it was too fast and swam away... He looked up at the other. All his hair seemed to follow the water down words making him look quite silly. "That's how you do it...." He said "though.... you gotta be faster then I am"

Nash's eyes widened as the other quite suddenly thrust his face toward the water, trying to snap at a fist. Oh my ... that was certainly not exactly what he'd expected.
"How often does it work?" he asked, watching the water as all the other nearby fish scattered for a few minutes.
The two spent the next few hours together, fishing. After a while, Nash kind of got the hang of it, though he wasn't as good as the other.
Eventually, though, Nash had to leave to find a place to rest for the night and the two parted ways.
