"No more games Jacob. I want my money."
The sound of a 9mm gun clicked as the barrel was loaded.

'My, my name's Aizel! Not Jacob!' Aizel suddenly spluttered, and took a step back, preparing to run back out of the door.

The piercing sound of gunshot rang in the air as a series of 3 bullets made their way at Aizel.

'Ulp!' Aizel gulped, as two of them missed. The third one struck him in the abdomen, and he let out a small cry of pain.
He turned on his heel, and awkwardly fled back out the door, and into the alleyway again.

"Don't let him escape!"
The thug came running after Aizel, but tripped with a loud thud on the way. The rain was still pouring hard outside, but it was decidedly better than what was behind the boy. A police officer was just walking passed the mouth of the alley...

'Sir!' Aizel yelled, spotting the policeman.
He sprinted over to the officer, and cowered behind him, speaking so fast the poor man could hardly understand a word he was saying. Aizel pointed back to where he had come from, to the thug that was chasing him.

"Now hold on there boy, you're speaking too fast for these old ears. What's this about chickens after your grandma now? Isn't it a bit late to be out on your own, and a night like this? Never know what kinds of thugs you might find"

"Look sonny, why don't you run along, and lay off the sugar? I'll never understand you young kids. Now git! Before I find your parents and have them straighten you out"
The thug was nowhere to be seen, and the rain seemed to be lifting. Was Aizel trapped here? No, he couldn't be. The crystal sphere was still there.

'Erm...okay...' Aizel mumbled, and headed back over to the crystal sphere. He gave it a nudge, to see what it was going to do, if anything at all.

The sphere resonated from the touch, but remain floating there. It was still a bit too high off the ground to just walk into...

'Hmm...'
After checking that he was not about to get smacked again by the cat that was lurking in the dumpster before, he clambered up onto it. He crouched down, peering at the sphere, and leapt at it.
