The green girl giggled softly, smiling and scooting around to study the hole she made - reaching out to carefully poke another one through on the same level and then lower to draw a wobbly curve. "..Punkin face," she explained, smiling and scooping up the innards that had seeped out, absently offering them to her second mouth. "Like the one on the way in."
"I know," Marlene replied with a slight smile. "I just hope the eating everything in sight is a quirk she'll grow out of. I can't defend the cats and lawn gnomes forever."

'Zuba grinned. "Jack Lantern!" she said, giggling as she remembered the name. Momma had told her that was the pumpkin's names when they had faces. "Pretty pumpkin Jack Lantern." she said, complimenting Lori's artful handiwork on the orange vegetable. She looked over at her mother, grinning. "Mother, Jack!" she called over her shoulder as she pointed.
Stasia glanced over grinning. "It's a very pretty Jack-o-Lantern." she said, clapping her hands once. That seemed to satisfy the little one, and she turned her attention to the other. "With age comes self-control." she said, smiling gently.

"Jack Lantern?" The green girl replied blandly, tilting her head at the messy, hand-done face in the pumpkin's surface, licking her fingers clean of the pumpkin's innards and smiling prettily at the compliment, wings fluffing out slightly. "Thank you," she offered, nodding her head and absently reaching to tug at her hair.
"I hope so," the oddly dressed woman mused, smiling and nodding. "I guess we'll see as she grows, though. We should try and get the girls together more often - they seem to get along well, and it'd be good for Lori to make friends."

'Zuba smiled, nodding a couple of times. "Welcome." she said simply in response, her tone happy. She reached into the "Jack Lantern" and grabbed a seed that was stuck to the inner wall, popping it in her mouth. Yummy!
The halfling smiled, nodding once. "I agree; they seem to be fast friends already." she said, thinking about it a moment. "We'll definately have to plan some outings or something in the future; those two seem to be having a good time with one another."

"Seeds the best part?" Lori mused, tilting her head and peering into the pumpkin, reaching in to carefully separate one of the ovaline white seeds, licking the clinging orange gunk away from its surface quickly before popping it into her mouth. "Yummy," she agreed, peeking back into the inside once more to pick out another one to offer it to her new friend.
"Agreed," Marlene laughed, smiling brightly. "Though I'm not too smart on kid-friendly events," she admitted, smile weakening slightly. "I'm.. kind of new at this parent thing."

"Bestest!" she said, giggling and grinning as she nodded. She watched her friend eat one, glad to see that her new buddy liked the seeds as well. "Thank you!" she said, giggling as she took the seed, popping it in her mouth. She reached into the pumpkin, plucking a couple of white seeds to hold out to the other girl.
Stasia chuckled, smiling and shaking her head. "Don't worry....I'm sure we'll be able to think of something." she said. "There are plenty of options available, after all."

The girl smiled brightly, reaching to taking one of the seeds to quickly pop it into her second mouth quickly, a delighted sound escaping her throat. "Yummy," she praised again, eyes closing in content before she moved to dig through the pumpkin in search of more.
"Yeah," she agreed, laughing softly and grinning. "Though we'll need some way to contact each other, unless you just want to show up randomly at the pumpkin patch and hope," she teased, chuckling softly once more.

'Zuba grinned brightly. Yes, seeds were very yummy! She giggled, looking into the open vegetable past Lori's hand to see if there were any more left in there. "Seeds come out?" she asked, as if she expected the seeds to jump out to them to be eaten.
Stasia let out a light, tinkling laugh. "Just a second...." she said, chuckling and shaking her head as she began rummaging in her purse, pulling out what looked like a reciet and an ink pen. Ripping the slip of paper in half, she quickly wrote her name and phone number on one half, then held the items out to Marlene.

"I think they're hiding," the green girl mused, leaning in to study the gooey remains, lips pressing into a slight, confused pout.
"Oh, thank you," she offered, smiling and quickly scribbling down her own on the other half, tucking the paper she'd been given away before offering the pen and her own note back to Stasia.

'Zuba tilted her head to the side, blinking. "Why hide?" she asked, looking from her friend to what was left of the vegetable. Why would the seeds want to hide from them? They were nice....
"No problem." she replied, smiling as she recieved the paper and pen back, slipping them into her purse.

"Don't wanna be eated," the girl offered, shrugging the slender shoulders before leaning to reach her hand into the near empty hull, scraping her nails along the side to try and find a few more of the seeds, making a face as they came up empty of nothing but the guts themselves before sticking her fingers into her mouth anyways.

"Oh..." 'Zuba said, nodding once. That made sense. She watched her friend search in vain for seeds. She then looked at the pumpkin, poking it in the side. "Come out." she said, talking to the orange vegetable.
Anastasia looked at the watch on her wrist, sighing slightly. "Unfortunately, we must be going...my oldest daughter gets out of school in fifteen minutes." she said, smiling slightly before looking to her youngest. "Come along now, 'Zuba."
'Zuba looked up, the looked back to her friend as if she hadn't heard. "Don't wanna go." she said, smiling at Lori.

"Oh, well. Don't let us keep you, then!" Marlene offered, smiling brightly before standing. "Come on, Lori. Let's go get some pumpkins of our own to take home, alright?" She offered, reaching out one hand for the girl's.
Lori glanced up before looking towards the smiling Zuba, offering a bright smile of her own. "Don't wanna go," she repeated, absently fidgeting with the pumpkin once more.
"C'mon, Lor, we gotta let them go pick up Zuba's older sister. You don't want her to be left all alone, do you?" She sighed, hands resting on her thin hips and one brow arching.
"..no," the girl grumbled miserably before sighing and reaching out to wrap her arms around her new friend. "Buh bye, Zuba..."
