Reign was surprised when the man blocked her dagger with his arm. But she caught the glint of metal. Ah, he was wearing some kind of armor. With a grin, she attacked with right, left, right, tail!

The man grunted easily keeping pace with her attacks. Taking a half-step back he began to spin his staff as he blocked the attacks. By the time Reign reached in with her tail, the staff was spinning and it knocked the dagger off course. With the small break, he set the length of wood spinning so fast it was a blur.

Reign paused, unsure of what to do now. She danced backwards and towards the man's side. She cautiously darted a dagger to his side to test his reflexes.

The old man simply rotated to follow her, the spinning staff knocking the dagger harmlessly out of the way.

Reign grinned, moving slowly in the direction she had been heading in before feinting an attack and quickly doubling back in the other direction and attacking towards the man's other side.

The old man grinned, but as all he had to do was pivot back, the attack bounced harmlessly away again.

Reign frowned. She'd hoped that would work. She tried a flurry of attacks: right, left, right, tail, right.

"Tcha. Useless." The old man stated as the blows glanced away. "Doing the same thing over and over will not get you anywhere."

Reign frowned at the teacher and glanced about the room. Hrm.... She crouched and aimed with one of her hand-feet at the man's ankles, hoping to trip him. She tried to keep him busy with the staff with her tail, stabbing repeatedly at him.

It nearly worked, Reign's feet yanking him off balance. While the man managed to hop back into balance the spinning of his staff was knocked off it's rhythm.

Reign grinned and bounced back up, going onto the attack once again. Flurry of quick attacks. That was her classic attack. Occasional tail stabs to throw the man off.
