He was terribly unlucky if he wished to be a hermit in the Kawani lands then most were as sociable as her. They would attempt to make connections frequently, would be even more persistant than she was on occasions! It was unfortunate but had he desired to remain completely alone it may have been better for him to simply run away to the desert where there were no other soquili - that being said, Sparkles would have suspected he'd become terribly bored if he had no one to bother him. Insistant chatter could be annoying, but it was missed when it was gone again.
"I was making an observation," she corrected after a period of silence. It wasn't the most comfortable of silences, by now it was obvious to her that she was trying his patience and would eventually be required to move on to other company. "You have a very angry aura, I was worried that such an aura might hurt the fish because such things can be very powerful and the fish are such delicate things," she pointed out softly, canting her head to the side.
A small smile continued to line her equine lips and she persisted in remaining present for at least a little while longer. Though she woud eventually respect his request and take her leave...

There was always someone who liked to bother him, it seemed. In the past, it had been his childhood friend, and now, it was his companion who always struck up a conversation, oblivious to the fact that he didn't care much about talking. And now, this mare.
He remained silent after she had replied, a small frown upon his face. "You think auras can hurt fish?" He queried. Her train of thought was quite strange indeed.

"They can, powerful auras can hurt a lot of things but fish are more suseptible," she explained gently. She didn't expect him to understand nor grasp the concept behind it, it had taken her many years of observation to become aware of this herself. When one was happy, the creatures around you were mroe comfortable and relaxed. If you were angry then they could become uncomfortable to the point of hostility. When it came to fish though, they were often timid sorts and as one who admired their otherwise 'mundane' lives she found it unfortunate that they would flee at the pulsing resentment that came from this stallion...or any soquili for that matter.
"You may not want anyone round you, but that doesn't mean you can scare the fish away from their own home, you know?" she pointed out smoothly. She wasn't attempting to push him away from the water, but easing up on the angst and frustration a little bit would certainly encourage the fish to come out and feed again. Unfortunately her merry-weather persona could only do so much to cancel the deep and resentful nature of the soquili before her. She wasn't a super mare after all!

"They're just fish." He shrugged. "They live in their own world, swimming about in the water, not caring about those who live on the land." Two different worlds. Sometimes he wondered how living in the sea would be. Would it be calmer, a nicer place?
No, he thought. Wherever one went, there was always danger. There was always predator and prey.
"I'm not stepping into their water, their world."
