"Well, there's nothing wrong at all in hoping for the day where the perfect compliment for your own soul arrives to complete you." Crowe took to the air and flew after one of the butterflies. He rose above it and gently blew down, sending the insect fluttering down towards Sunny. The dark male flashed a smile. "I agree. There are infinite possibilities when meeting someone new. You never quite know when the one for you may show up."
He angled his blue black wings and landed softly in the grass. He grinned brightly then blinked in surprise when pale yellow butterfly landed on his nose and just perched there fluttering its vivid wings.

Sunny watched him as he flew up, mulling over his words. She knew he was right, but she was a romantic at heart, but tried to never let her ideas get in the way of how reality really was. She blinked when a butterfly started flying around her head and she giggled and smiled happily and chased after it.
She stopped when she saw the yellow butterfly land on Crowes nose and she brightly laughed. She barely noticed that the butterly she was chasing landed right on her head.

Crowe puffed a breath up and the butterfly flitted from his nose to one of his ears. It was a bit better than the tip of his nose; its wings were partially obsuring his vision. He shifted his bright blue eyes over towards Sunny and gave a warm, hearty laugh once he spotted the butterfly that had landed on her own head.
He took a few steps closer to her and nodded towards the butterfly one her head. "Looks like we match, Sunny." He chuckled a bit. His pale yellow butterfly lifted off and swirled around Sunny's head as if inviting her butterfly to become airborne as well.

Sunny blinked and tilted her head a little when he said that, but looked up when the butterfly on her head flittered off and started fluttering with the yellow butterfly and she had to giggle at that, "Looks like we did for a few seconds!" she said with a smile.

"Ah well," Crowe chuckled. "They're free to do as they will." He watched the pair of butterflies flit and flutter around each other in ever heightening circles. The dark male returned his attention to Sunny with a bit of a smile.
"Say, do you want to head over to the river? It'll be nice to do a bit of wading or swimming in the water."

Sunny looked back to Crowe when the butterflies went out of her sight and she smiled and nodded, "That sounds quite good right now, a cool dip river on a warm day!" she exclaimed, tail wagging.

A grin slowly spread across Crowe's features as an idea came to him. "Wonderful. Sunny, what you would say to a little race there? We could agree on prizes for the winner if you or I win." His tail swished behind him, a mix of mischievousness and excitement. "It'd be fun."

Sunny stared at him for a moment and then smiled again, "Alright, but I will have to let you know, I am a fast runner!" she told him, semi-jokingly. "Alright, you first, if you win, what is your prize?" she asked.

Crowe laughed warmly at her words. "Alright. I'll keep that in mind, but I'm no push over either." He made a thoughtful sound at what he would want should he win their little race to the river. He mused on it for a few moments before he smiled and sat up straight, his wings folded loosely at his sides.
"If I should win, I believe that I would like to either see you again sometime or meet your extended family. Do that sound fair? If you win out over me, what would you like to be your prize?"

Sunny's eyes widened when he said that, not expecting that prize, probably something along the lines of 'a basket of picked apples or berries' no one had ever wanted to come and meet their family before or see her again. She was silent for a moment as she thought it through and then smiled and nodded her head to him, "Alright, that sounds a reasonable prize!" She flapped her wings and tucked them against her sides, "Now, if I win, you either have to let me come meet your family or find me a blue and purple flower!" she said, a playful smile on her face.

Her request sounded fair and reasonable. If she did win he was certain that Tobias and Bakari wouldn't mind getting a visitor, and if it ended up being the flower that Sunny wanted, then he would have no problem finding her one. Crowe smiled and nodded. "That works for me," he said with a bit of a chuckle to his voice.
He moved to her side, facing in the direction of the river. The dark male shifted his gaze over to Sunny. "Have any rules that you want to put into play?"

She turned as well to face where the river was, looking quite pumped to be racing, "No foul play, like tripping or throwing dirt! And no flying! You're wings are much larger then mine!" she explained.

"Oh, absolutely not," Crowe protested innocently. "I would never use foul play when racing with a fair maiden such as yourself. There would be no honor in that. I'll keep my wings close." He flashed her a bit of a grin. "Fear not, Sunny. There will be no funny business from me. I simply ask that you show me the same courtesy. Hm?" The dark male inclined his head to her and set himself in a stance that prepared him to run to the river.

Sunny chuckled and turned and got herself ready as well, "Don't worry, if you aren't going to, I certainly won't!! Alright.....get ready......get set......GO!" she said and she immediately bounded off.

The dark male let Sunny take a few bounds ahead of him before he sprung from his position after her and towards the river. He gave a laugh as he trailed after her, his wings folded tightly to his back. "I can tell this race is going to be a close one!" Crowe was gradually gaining on her, soon running along her side.
The river was shining silver in the sunlight and burbled quietly within its banks. It looked and sounded inviting. He wasn't going to let the fair female get too far a head of him, but he wouldn't sprint ahead of her either. "I hope your family likes guests, or at least I hope you won't object to another day with me, since I'm bound to win," Crowe teased playfully.
