Interesting pic! Is this guy anyone important? Or just some random dude. Also, I heard there were a lot of parallels between Edgar Alan Poe and Charles Baudelaire's friendship and the story. There was a fan essay on it...lemme see if I can find it. Here it is: http://www.thequietworld.com/editorials.php?page=ase4

I don't know if this goes here but i've noticed that the accent Count Olaf has in TEE is the same as accent as seen in TCC and how come that the children aren't wearing their pinstripe suits in any of the pictures?

I'm not sure about the pinstripes, maybe they were so horrid LS could bear to tell the illustrator what they looked like. sweatdrop As for the accent, maybe it's just a VFD trait.

Nohope02 Has anyone noticed that the creater of the movie zombies in hte snow had the surname Sebalt You mean Sebald? As in the Sebald Code? I'm pretty sure he was the one who invented it and he put messages into his plays for the VFD to dechiper. It's explained quite well in the Unauthorized Autobiography.

I was looking through the index of TUA and came across "Linda Rhaldeen, see anagrams"
So I did it and it came out Daniel Handler.
I went back to the Hostile Hospital's list and tried others.
Carrie E. Abelabudite as many probably know comes out to Beatrice Baudelaire.
Laura V. Bleediotie we know comes out to Violet Baudelaire.
Ned H Rirger comes out to RED HERRING
Albert E Deviloeia comes to "A BAD EERIE VILE LOT" ^^; and you can get "violet" but I didn't comes arcoss anything that really made sense.
Eriq Bluthetts comes out as Brett Helquist
Al Brisnow came up with a bunch of things, nothing I could really connect to anything. There were quite a few with "Sir" "Brain" "Lab" "War" etc.
I got "CLIENT MONKEYS" from Monty Kensicle among other things. (Lots of things with neck, clems, clemets, mickey, nickel, tickle, sickle) ^^;; Wait a tick, duh...it's Lemony Snicket. xd
Ed Valientbrue came out among other things "A BAD VILER TUNE" "A BEARD EVIL NUT" "A True Evil Band" sweatdrop
Well, that's about it for now, welcome to try the ones I didn't do. I stayed away from ones with accents. Enjoy!

MrToad Dude that's awesome. Didn't know Helquist was in VFD. Or is he? I don't think so...were we to assume everyone on that hospital list was VFD? It seemed like LS contacted him to be the illustrator. He has a letter in TUA. Maybe he got recruited afterwards? (ponders) ninja

MrToad Dude that's awesome. Didn't know Helquist was in VFD. Or is he? I doubt he's actually a member, even though his name was on the list. My guess (like Rurouni said) is that he's one of Snicket's contacts and a personal friend due to the letter.
