Grinning in return she leaped after him excitedly. She hadn't played a game for some time. Rushing up behind him she hit him lightly with her horn. "Now you're it!" Laughing she turned around quickly and went in a zig-zag pattern through the trees, a technique she had learned from Ferey.

Lloyd grinned when he saw that she was indeed playing. He turned his head forward and got ready to pick up the pace. However he felt a light hit from behind. "You're quick." He said turning and starting to chase her. He slowed down as she darted between the trees. He stopped altogether after a minute with a serious look on his face. He immediately picked up her zig-zag pattern and grinned. He then began darting through the trees just like her. He began to pick up the pace and soon was catching up to her. "Do you really think you can out run your elder?" He called as he drew ever closer.

"No but then I never intended to outrun you!" Spinning around she ran head first into him, making sure to avoid hitting him with her horn, and tried knocking him to his side.

Lloyd was slightly confused by her reply but quickly figured it out when she turned and tried to ram him. Just before she would hit him, he nimbly jumped to the side. "Ha haha. You'll have to try better than that young one." He said smiling, "I may be a low rank but I am an Omega known for his knowledge. Plus I'm older and more experienced than you." He then darted forward and whipped a paw out to tag her.

Surprised she hadn't caught him off gaurd she was startled further when his paw successfully hit her side and tagged her. "So not fair." She rolled onto her back showing defeat. "I give in oh mighty one. I am no match for the likes of you." Dramatically she looked hurt and overplayed her words with a smile stuck to her face.

Lloyd chuckled at her and shook his head. "I think not tricky little one." He said jumping out of her reach and ready to spring away, "I am glad that you recognize my skills as greater than yours but I don't think you are quite ready to give up. Instead I think you need to work on your acting and flattery. Your trick is a good one but it needs work. A smile does not help also." He smiled kindly as he slowly began teaching.

"Now why ever would you think I would sink so low as to catch you off guard? Can a smile not just be on my face at the fun of the game? And can I not just be giving in since you obviously outmatch me in speed, strength and wits?" Getting up slowly she was curious to see how he would answer. One thing he didn't know about her that she did was she was excellent and the art of distraction. Even talking about the same thing they were doing she had learned she could distract many things smarter and trickier then herself.

Lloyd shook his head still chuckling. "Because you need to learn how to catch your prey off guard or an opponent in a fight." He said, "A smile can be on your face from the game but when you are trying to seem hurt and smile is most inappropriate. Truthfully I think you are trying to distract me and I must say you are quite good at it. However I still have some things to teach you." He grinned and darted off again. This time he headed for the river. He made sure that he was running at his full speed. He reached the river and jumped into it. He then began to run/swim in the river. This would help hide his scent.

Growling softly at his figuring her out she took after him. Now was the time she regretted not taking Ferey up on all those offers to go running. What with her slow speed and his being older she quickly lost sight of him. Using her nose to sniff him out she came to a river where his scent ended. "Darn he used the water to cover his scent." Huffing in annoyance she looked at the water hoping that by some miracle it would give her the answer she was looking for. About to give up she lept for joy when she noticed a small familiar white figure along the bank of the river coming toward her.

Lloyd sniffed the air and realized that he had lost Ama. He grinned and hopped out of the river onto the opposite bank. He shook himself to get the water off of him. He then sat down and waited. He wondered how long it would take her to pass this test of catching his scent.

Finally reaching one another Ama was quick to lick her little friend. "Well you weren't gone very long. Why are you back so soon?" Rolling it's eyes Ferey sneered up at it's big companion. I noticed a male helix swimming away from this area and I figured you had something to do with it am I right? Grinning Ama nuzzled her little com patriarch. "Was he brown with white spots?" Yes "Then yes I had something to do with it. He was swimming the way that you came from correct? We are playing a game and I have to find him." Isn't that cheating if I tell you? "Not really you're just giving me the direction he was going. I still have to figure out where he's gone after that." Very well then. Yes he was swimming that way. Licking it one last time she ran to the way it had pointed. "Thanks Ferey!" Hmph turning the fox walked back to it's earlier activities.

Lloyd flicked his tail from side to side. He was wondering how long it was going to take for Ama to catch up to him. He stood up and stretch. He then walked into the trees and rolled around. He had an itch on his back that he was trying to get.

Knowing Lloyd was getting annoyed by now but hey maybe that'd help her find him. Finally getting farther down the river she noticed wet grass on the other side of the bank. Grinning and getting excited again Ama knew the Lloyd had gotten out there. Swimming as quietly as she could across it she hopped out and got into a run nearly tripping over the itchy Lloyd on his back.

Lloyd looked up when he heard a soft padding noise. It sounded like someone was running towards him. His eyes grew wide when Ama nearly tripped over him. "Well well. Seems you caught up. So did you use your nose to find me?" He asked jumpy up, "Well now let's see..... ah your next lesson.... I always do have fun with this one. Remember to pay attention to your surroundings!" With that piece of advice he darted off again. This time he headed towards the north knowing that he would soon hit the border of the territory. He wouldn't go into the North but he would see if Ama knew where the border is.

Laughing at finding him she was only happy for a moment when he took off again. "Pay attention to my surroundings?" Confused she took off after him hoping she wouldn't have a hard time with this lesson.
