The female pulled the Jade to her, wrapping her tail around it to keep it close to her. Kyuran's question took her greatly by surprise and she tilted her head.
"Uhm, I don't really know, to be honest. I've never put much though in it because I never had to deal with an area like that. I suppose I'd take only a few of those and leave the rest, or maybe I'd move myself to that location. But, the idea of such an area existing is only that; an idea." She smiled brightly, content with her analysis of herself.

"Oh really now?"
A slight and strange grin crept upon Kyuran's features. A few new curiosities popped into his mind as he took all of this in. The question was which one he should persue first. It took a short bit of thought before he shrugged his shoulders some and spoke up again.
"Well there are various areas that are rich in minerals. Who's to say there aren't ones that are rich in gemstones? I'm sure their walls would sparkle here and there with light."

A sort of cheesy grin came onto Kofuku's face and she laughed. "Yes, but in order to find such a place, you'd need to disappear from the real sunlight. Besides, even though it would be amazingly beautiful, it's still not as special as stumbling across a rarity in the middle of nowhere."
She blinked a little, thinking a bit, then sighed. "Though, I really should find a use for the gems I've already collected..."

That didn't quite go in the direction he originally hoped for, but that was fine. There would be other opportunities for Kyuran to play with his curiosities. With an impassive shrug, he stretched out his wings some and glanced around.
"Pan'lun use such gems and minerals from what I hear. Perhaps you should go seek one out. Or try to craft them into items yourself."
The dark painter shifted his gaze back towards her.
"Or maybe even trade them off for other goods."

The female watched him stretch his wings, then she moved closer, sniffing at one and inspecting it. She was really curious about them since she had no wings herself, and therefor would never know what they were like.
"Does it hurt to fly?" She asked quietly. The skin membrane on the wings had to stretch painfully when filled with air.

Kyuran shifted away slightly as the chi'lin sniffed at one of his wings. Frowning a bit, he shook his head and let out a light scoff. The idea of it being painful to fly seemed slightly ridiculous to him, since it was just about second nature to him to be able to do such a thing.
"Not at all. Only time it does is if I push my muscles too far, or if I had injured my wings, but that goes for using your legs too."

"I see.... what's it like to be able to fly? It's something foreign to me, so forgive my curiosity...." She did feel bad about asking him so much about his wings, it was probably starting to make him feel self conscious.
She looked around, trying to change the subject, chewing lightly on her lip. "So, uhm, what do you do for fun....?"

For a moment or two, Kyuran gave the chi'lin female a rather blank stare. He had the thought of giving her an 'idea' of flight by bringing her up... only to possibly 'lose his grip' while they were high above the ground. It was a nice thought to him, but he wasn't really sure if he would be able to get far off the earth while carrying another full grown painter.
"It's not something that could be explained easily. At least not to someone bound to the earth."
Quirking a brow, the dark common painter snorted lightly at the second question.
"Various things."

"Well, I figured as much, but thought it at least be worth asking. Oh well, it's the curse of being born without wings, right?"
Kofuky scruntched up her nose, snorting. "Oh, that's real specific.... C'mon, give me something to work with!" She wanted to get to know this male more; he peeked her curiosity.
